I disagree. I think that leaving such an environment wouldn't be the best you could do. In most cases this environment consists of your friends and/or you relatives. If they are in trouble you shouldn't leave them thinking that you can get in trouble too if you stay with them, but rather you should try to help them to get out of trouble. Such actions like explaining the dangers of gambling addiction to your close ones can be beneficial for you too because you can learn some interesting facts while looking for good arguments and become more competent regarding gambling issues. There are cases when professional help is needed, but they are rare. In most cases a good talk from a close friend can help.

I agree with your point of view, gambling addiction and investing too much money on it will lead to huge monetary losses. My friends are the ones who lost their homes with gambling. So I think people should not be addicted to gambling because the benefits are almost nonexistent.

You would find many people in the world who would have lost money in gambling rather than making money and despite knowing this facts still people fall in this trap of playing to make money from this gambling instead of enjoying the fun and entertain them self .

I'm thinking the same if you really have to overcome the need of moving on and reducing your addiction. But I'm also considering what Betwrong said about unexpected things that we don't want to happen. That's it, you have to do something so you won't suffer with the consequences that being an addicted in gambling is. Obviously gambling addiction a dangerous disease in my opinion. To be honest 80% people's are loser on gamble(Correct me if I am wrong). It's my own opinion and observations. You play professionally it's different case but also it's a addiction. As OP mention people can't leave easily who are addicted on gamble. Whoever can't leave that means he is addicted. If you play for time pass or few passive income occasionally then it's not too hard for you leave gamble. Like me I am not play much. Just occasionally if I am much free. Addicted people do actually know what they are doing and even if they knew that it was bad , they still continue doing it .  gambling addiction is not a dieases but only a mental problem imo  .  a real disease can only be considered if it is inside your body  .

I believe that gambling addictions is more on stupidity than a deceases,because eversince we were young we had been thought by the elders that gambling is a bad vices and this may cause us failure in life(but ofcourse not those people who was born and raised in a bad community that gambling is just part of their daily routine)

Just simply call it a habit or a hobby. If you're simply having fun doing it, then you would do it in frequent manner until it becomes an everyday manner especially when winning momentum is in your side when you gamble. Sometimes being in a pattern of winning and losing alternatively triggers this kind of habit, in my opinion especially in situations that you wanted to win what you have lost.

Gambling is more of a game and not a money making opportunity. Many people play gambling because they feel fun in it. Also if they win, they get greedy too. Combination of both fun and greed make people addiction of it and it is very difficult to leave gambling once you have the habit of it.

I agree with you aside from the gambling addiction is a disease much more people adopt gambling in their lives with have self discipline and set greed control to avoid addiction they play gambling for having fun.

Although the government bans it, the gambling industry will continue the business and will still operate. They will search for a hidden place which only a few people know the place. Besides that, they will not spread about the gambling place to the unknown person unless the member has invited that person. To cure the gambling addiction is only by counseling and make conversation with the therapist, but it needs a strong will from the gambler itself.

Gambling teach something new to us that's why we are more addicted to gambling because if we lost money it is something so we used that trick to make other investment so it continues that's why people are more addicted to gambling but addition is not for long time it will go out when you have not money but it is not going to be a disease it will solve soon.

In my opinion, I don't think gambling is a disease, for me it is a disorder. There are a lot of kinds of diseases nowadays and how you earn them is through bacterias, heriditary, from other people and a lot of ways. In terms of  disorder, it might be because of the state you are in before you got the disorder or also it is hereditary. For me gambling addiction is a mental disorder, you  don't know that you are prioritizing the wrong thing,you are spending your money endlessly to something that will destroy you in the end.
