PM/Chat Logs: Hi, I can sell you BTC for Paypal but with a hold period. 24 hours , 37$ Paypal. I don't use Skype and no verification needed, just send the payment to titttiez@yahoo.com as F&F. Unfortunately by reading the email address of titttiez@yahoo.com I have reasonable doubt that this Farlack is a bought account just like user tittiez here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=51152 and I think they are under the same hand which is using them to scam people.

Now this is becoming disturbing.

What a user can do to safeguard himself is to check post history of the user he is dealing with, it will help you in a better judgment. For example user tittiez comes back after 2 years of inactivity and immediately scam a user for 258 USD in Neteller here : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1615084.0

I think both accounts are connected  or the same user is using them and the email address used  is enough evidence for me.

Sorry for your loss.

Dispute is easy, I don't remember now as I am not using Paypal since a long time.

Just google how to dispute a paypal transaction and you should be good to go.

Perhaps now you will read the very first post in the Currency Exchange section:

Beware of PayPal and other reversible transfer services https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=14632.0

All we can do for now is red flag that UID and watch for others using that info.  Undecided

If you used the machine that you regularly use to access paypal they won't reverse the transaction due to unauthorized access.

Does anyone know of another way of getting my money back? Im thinking of having one of my parents call and say a kid at school took my phone and transferred all the money to that account

But that wouldn't be the truth, would it?

I mean, no, but at least the scammer loses the money. Im just going to say that the payment went through as friends and family when it was supposed to be goods or services.

I know this is old as shit, and I only noticed this reading though my email account.

Not like anyone will believe it, but this account was compromised. My email has dozens of messages that's not on bitcointalk messages and I'm sure many were actually scammed.

Sorry this happened, and I hope you got your money back.
