how many people do you think knows about bitcoin in your community?

to me i think there are very little number of people know about bitcoin, in our area there is too much need of introducing bitcoin in the people so that they may know about bitcoin and start using it, i think just a few number of people may be know about bitcoin and they will be using it only for investment purposes.

I do not know much about the interest of my community in bitcoin but I know well that whenever they will know about bitcoin they will love to adopt it. and currently those people are involved in bitcoin in my country who have studied about the soft technology or the students of that (computer technology)

I think I'm the only one who use bitcoin in my class and around my home. but I don't know wheter there are people except me use bitcoin in my campus. I just didn't find them yet. I just found some bitcoin users in my country. and I don't know how many of them.

I know that there are maybe a dozen people that I know that would recognize "Bitcoin" if you asked them about it, but they likely wouldn't know a ton about it beyond the typical "it does this and it is this thing". There's like maybe 500-5000 people I don't know about in my city that know what Bitcoin is as well, but that's a guess.

It's funny, my job brings me into contact with hundreds of people with addiction problems each month.  I suppose it'd be amusing to do an informal poll to see how many of them have heard of, or use, bitcoin.  But I can't do that.  There was one of our clients who I did ask about it, or he told me he used btc on Silk Road.  Can't remember how the info got transmitted to my brain.  He was a cool guy.

I don't know of anyone who uses it around me other than me.  That's why I'm on this forum so much.

Here in my place only I knows about bitcoin because even though I am sharing them what bitcoin is, they are just laughing at me. But as of now, they are seeing me that I am not going out to my house because I just going outside when I have classes and even I am keep on telling them bitcoin they are not really interested.

I do not know but I would say and would be proud to say that I am the only one using it in our community.     Well, I do not know if I should be happy because I was not able to share the blessings that I have using bitcoins.  But in reality, I have caused some of my friends to have an account with the bitcoin wallet that is accepted and recognized in our country.  I tell them to my family and some friends and they just could not believe that there is money just using internet connection and computer.  Tried to explain to them but they have no interest.

What do you mean by "small community"?

Family?Friends?Nobody knows anything about bitcoin in my family or my friends.

They aren`t very tech savvy and they won`t understand anything,if i try to explain the bitcoin/blockchain.

My family is aware about bitcoins as they see me working everyday on it, and I have explained them the basics of bitoins, but they are not interested in using it but they don't have any issue if I am using  it.

as so far there still a lot of traditional thinker who considering everything on the internet are scam
they did not trust at all on something like bitcoin
as a result only a little pecentage of bitcoin user in developed country , i believe there only below 10% average of total population

Yeah and its very difficult to convince older generation as they are not aware about internet stuff and they have wrong impression about it and I have seen many people who don't even prefer to use credit cards.

those kind people are too afraid to accept technology
they have too many negative thinking about what could affected by technology
and especially for bitcoin who really hard to explained to a common people
have tried my best to invite people around me to join use bitcoin but so far i get nothing

Here, I personally know one, which is my batchmate during my high school days, but I discovered that she is into bitcoin just this year, and I think she haven't been using bitcoin that long... Probably there are lot more that just don't show it publicly and I am also lazy to ask who the hell in the City I live is using bitcoin...

By saying community I think you want to say friend circle (If I am not wrong). Well, hardly three friends in my circle have heard about bitcoin and I am the reason for that. I live in a country where the overall population is around 1.25 billion and there are almost 10,000 bitcoin users. Well I think building awareness in regional language is must if we want a strong user base. I wrote a series of articles in my local language in 2017 on my blog.

Wondering and confusing too how my country men knew-about bitcoins in our small country or community i think trough advertising of some investment website that they can earn much more money in every referral will be sign up on there refferral link but think twice before you sign up and put money there.

It's only me here using bitcoin, 3 of My friends know it but not interest. They think bitcoin is a ponzi scam, they don't really know about it and in the end, they don't want to know.

the same as I face today. my friends know about bitcoin, but maybe he was not too familiar with bitcoin as a whole so that he only mentions that bitcoin is only a temporary phenomenon. I'm sure he'll be disappointed for not being early bitcoin users

I live in a relatively small city in America. I don't know of anyone personally that knows anything about bitcoin. I'm sure there are some out there that invest and mine, but I would guess that it's a very small percentage.

I think in the environment around me even in my town probably only a few people who know bitcoin. and probably very rare people using bitcoin, I do not really know about it because bitcoin is very anonymous users. but I rarely find bitcoin group in my town. it is enough to prove that the bitcoin community has not been popular in my city

In my community only me that know about bitcoins. Even all my friends that i know, there are don't know about bitcoin. Bitcoin is not very popular in my community and my friends. Even in my country is not very popular.

I am trying to tell all my real life friends about Bitcoin and share gospel of Satoshi. But so far I managed to convince only of of my friends to purchase 1 or 2 bitcoins.
Rest of my colleagues are either skeptical about it or think I am some kind of loony tin hat person, when I am trying to convince them that bitcoin will be huge someday.
