The type of currency is rather irrelevant. Anything that has widespread value can be used to fund illegal activities, and more, should be expected to be doing so. USD, Euro, Yen, btc, gold, diamonds, drugs, etc. The medium is fungible, criminals will be criminals. The currency doesn't make them so.

How exactly do you think you would go about "seizing" all the bitcoins? The ledger is decentralized, so there is no way to shut it down. Seizing bitcoins would require the confiscation of the hard drives that contain private keys to public addresses. And that also assumes that those hard drives have the only copy of the private keys. In short, there's no easy or feasible way to accomplish bitcoin seizures.

But nowadays I am seeing that USD is used more in illegal activities than bitcoin because for running bitcoin a user will require a good knowledge about digital system while for them using USD for illegal activities is not hard because USD is known by everyone in every corner of the world even without technology USD can be transferred to any corner of the world.

how do you know that USD is using for illegal activities, its look like that you yourself engage in such activities because no one will like expose his illegal  activities. and the second is that way only USD or bitcoin is using for illegal activities while there are so many other popular currencies in the world. to me those counties where the illegal activities are more as compare to other countries those countries currencies will be using as more for illegal activities.

I am pretty sure that when goons smash into convenience stores and steal stuff, then the money they probably steal is USD, which makes it criminal currency. Also, I am pretty sure that the baseball bats that majority of the goons have bought were paid for by the USD.

Also, most people collect rain water, drink raw milk, and throw cannabis seeds in soil, all three acts which are considered serious illegal felonies punishable by seriously expensive fines and extensive jail time, possibly life in prison.

Some people also walk, drive, fish, or hunt without a permit that can easily be bought for in USD.

The accurate definition is, it is not up to the currency but up to the one who uses the currency. All currencies are use for illegal activities and in fact, fiat are mostly use especially paper money because it has lesser trail compared to bitcoin where there is a public ledger that is very transparent.

They can use bitcoin for illegal activities but our exchange sites now are already requiring us to comply with the KYC policy, we have to submit all information. We might not be under the radar of the government for a while but once you will be under investigation, it would be easy for them to trace your transaction. Never convert your bitcoin into fiat if you do not want to be trace.

Yes it is very possible that USD can be used for illegal activites, this also happening in the different country. So other nation is was creating a law about this matter, maybe some are giving them a ban once they've found out caught in the act. Even bitcoin can be used for legal and illegal transactions therefore same thing with USD dollar.

Euro is more suitable than USD for illegal activities. Since there are 500euro papers which hold a lotmore value than 100$. To answer your question, of course it is being used for illegal activities. It doesn't make USD guilty. USD is the most common currency around the world, thw most liquid... That's why terrorists choose USD over everything else.

It's true. Here a 500€ papers can be exchanged for 520€ in street and we don't have problem to find someone to exchange. It's more convenient for the criminals, they find several advantages with it. For exemple it's more easy to transport 100k€ with 500€ than with 10-20-50€. But not easy to get one 500€ paper, we have to fill paper at the bank and wait like a week to get it. The truth is you look really suspicious asking for a 500€ paper. And so far i have never see any, only 100 and 200€ and they are also rare to see

It's definitely wrong ffs, USD is far more untraceable than bitcoin which have blockchain and every outgoing transaction was recorded and there's no way to delete this. The USD itself ain't got GPS to detect and there's no way to control it directly. Bitcoin itself doesn't trigger criminality because of its pseudo-anonymous feature but the criminality itself take advantage of bitcoin instead of other currency. Even if bitcoin doesn't exist, I'm sure the criminalities still exist.

Therefore, Bitcoin will continue to exist in the USA for at least 10 years. I doubt that a government can ban Bitcoin right now because the people will not like this idea very much. Certainly, and you do know for a fact that it is being used heavily in smuggling, theft and other illegal and shady activities--in some cases, the government themselves partake in. Also, illegal activities and whatnot aren't constrained to just USD; even btc is being used for these illegal activities too.
