--------------------------------------

People were talking a lot of smack in my newbies forum thread, that was unnecessary, so i moved here. I will post a link at bottom if you care to read it. I also have a price list in that posting for video cards my distributor currently has. i will be updating it in 24 hours probably.

I want $1500.00 for this 6990.

Will take 100 Bitcoin, face to face exchange welcome.

i live in los angeles. can meet you half way if its no more than 30 minute drive.

youtube link (so people dont ask me to take a picture with my forum name on a piece of paper next to the card.)

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

What's so special about this card that someone should pay twice the retail price?

Is it gold plated?  Why 2x the retail price.  I can get 2 cards any day of the week for $1500.

I could buy two Asus Ares cards for that price, No one is going to pay twice the retail price  on these forums. You would be lucky to get 1k on amazon too.

Cool, someone trying to sell something for bitcoins.  Wish I saw more of this.  Sounds like the price is too high for most, but hey, that's what's exciting about a marketplace.  Ability to try out ideas without 5 years of paperwork first.

If you drop your price to $600 USD or 20 BTC, I'll take it right away.

Send me PM or find me in IRC under TheShoura, do not trade until GPG auth, of course Smiley

do a search on newegg.com and every single one of them if sold out. so is everywhere else,
so he can certainly charge whatever for it. now would he be able to sell it to anyone at that price that's another question lol. but $800-$1000 is considered a good below market price.

You can not roll a BitCoin, but you can rollback some. Cheesy

I've found quite a few places which still have them in stock from pricewatch. And at reasonable prices, too.

yeap, and atleast here in Finland if you are able to wait couple weeks, stock is of 0 issue.
They will get it to you, even if it takes 10 weeks, at the price quoted. Even if that price is wayyy under market.
