I think OP is underestimating the power consumption.

I have a rig with a HD 7950 doing 561kh/s (i5 cpu but it's idle most of the time) and my Kill-A-Watt shows 398W-402W

3.1 MH on 2 rigs. Expanding to about 5.3 MH tomorrow.

Goal is to break 10 MH by the coming weekend.

7950s on AMD machine are doing 655kH/s
7950s on Intel machine are doing 625kH/s

1100/1500@1.125v

--shaders 1792 --intensity 20 --lookup-gap 2 --thread-concurrency 24567 --worksize 256 -g 1 --temp-target 80 --gpu-fan 0-90 --auto-fan

Cloned HDDs so everything is the same. Same RAM, same PSUs, same 7950s. Windows 7 using 12.8 drivers.

Not much, only 3 6950's hashing away. About 350mh each, don't want to push them too hard.

Dude you can get ~440 easily with a minimal overclock and intensity at 18-19.

Might as well pushem while you got em, they wont be worth much in 2 years and hopefully LTC will be.

I think OP is underestimating the power consumption.

If it is under estimated, my kill-a-watt is broke. Unlikely.

So you are saying that this box:

Box:1
5850 --------- 400.9 khash/s -- 170Watts
5850 --------- 400.9 khash/s -- 170Watts
I3-2100 ------ 20.02 khash/s -- 29Watts

is reading 369Watts in your Kill-A-Watt?  Roll Eyes

that should be around 40k Watts

Actually a bit less, every 3 x 7970 pc i build takes around 900 W on the plug Smiley so [(28+96)/3]  * 900 =  37200 W Tongue
