now there is no news that could make bitcoin prices fluctuate. news even as halving not affect the price of bitcoin. the market is shown being lethargic and listless. possible effects of the Christmas holiday can later make bitcoin prices rising high. I hope .

I also think that the time of chrismas can indeed make the bitcoin go up, there is a good chance that this will happen most likely. Lets be patient and hope on some price increasings soon or later it has too happen. |

I agree not much of happening at this point except for the upcoming Segwit update that may push the price of bitcoin upto 700 usd -- 800 usd if it is played and advertised greatly. Since I heard this update will enable bitcoin for future upgrades and updates which is a good reason enough to gain more trust from the people. |

It was stable and the fact is that this was because of the fact it had not a lot of buyers or any evens in that time.

As the price is worthy now being stable around $600, many tend to either keep it in their wallet or buy more bitcoins. The circulation is bit less then compared to earlier days. As said this may be one of the reasons for the price being stable and do not have a big hike in it. As this stability is lasting for more than a month, many focuses on doubling the bitcoins now either through buying more bitcoins or earning more bitcoins. This would certainly pile their wallet with more profit in future. |

Bitcoin's rate in stable since june 2016 I think because of two reasons. The first reason is that many expects to see bitcoin's price to rise by the end of the year. It is quite good though that it is stable at 600$. The second reason is that maybe because of the past halving and many whales are trying to stabilize the price just my guest though but I expect it like others to rise before the end of this year.

i think you can without doubt see pump without the need of bad news or good news, this happened in the past, so whales can pump and dump the market, at will, and it happen at random, i also think we are near another pump, this is why many are buying back and the price returned to $600+, it's a mental thing |

Especially after the halving, the price of bitcoin become stable right now. Even after the bitfinex hack, the price of bitcoin back to normal at $600 per bitcoin. |

The bitcoin is far from stable as you know the price of the bitcoin changes every day not much but he is chanhing but we are stuck around the 600 dolalr he is not moving lots sinds june but how is that possible finally people who selling.

I noticed that it has been stable lately but did not know it has been for that long.  That is unusual to say the least because it jumps around so much that you don't noticed these things until it settles for a price that is stable enough. And it looks like it had found it at sub $590-610 for the last 3.5-4 months.  |

Its might be possible that its preparing of price increase but its not always the case which it shows somehow stability on its price because people would see this stabilize price is something different which theres no active buyers and trader regarding on bitcoins ecosystem thats why there a little price movement on it. |

the possibility of such facts. but for me the price stability nlebih because bitcoin increasingly trusted by large corporate companies. they certainly want a digital currency stable. the market responded by giving bitcoin prices stable. |

It's because people are waiting for something to happen. If you look the charts the same thing happend when the price spiked to 1000 USD back then in the begining.
