If Satoshi reveal himself then we got a big news. This news will increase Bitcoin exposure and popularity. With this the price of bitcoin will be affected since it will be hyped by the news about Satoshi and we can see an increase of price.
This may have a great possibility of happening, since most people would become filled with excitement when they finally discover Bitcoin's creator upon making his reveal to the public. I believe that prices would rise to new levels, but it may only be temporary, due to the hype that there would be in those days.
But other than that, nothing would change in Bitcoin unless Satoshi decides to dump his coins or cooperate with the community to reach a resolution in ending the scalability debate.
In the meantime, Bitcoin would continue to grow without Satoshi like it has done in all these years. It has finally grown into a fully independent project sustainable by its own users, while maintaining decentralization, all without the need of its original creator. Just my opinion.
