You have to post it here because you have only just registered Wink

Also, I really don't think anyone will sell 30BTC with PayPal - the risk is to high.

The point is,
PayPal is the first choice for scammers, so why would any BTC-seller trust you?

It's not that hard to buy BTC in france, Bitcoin-Central sits in france and works like a charm.

its a shame that scammers have caused this issue.  i want to buy some litecoins as a small investment but i wont even consider using a bank transfer.  I dont want to risk my bank account and my bank charges a lot for a wire.  Are there any safe ways to buy them?  I assume they use a wire transfer?  Or do they use EFT?

Why can't you put the money in an account and transfer it by wire to MtGox or some other exchange? Such a large order is only safe that way, otherwise there is no trust in either party, and someone is easily able to steal the other's money. Additionally, for a large order you should surely be willing to wait a few days for a wire transaction. The problem with paypal is that they disapprove of BTC transactions, and will usually refund a buyer's money if requested.
