That is another point. But it is not just China. There are only a handful of countries that have expressed its support for bitcoin. The rest are either not interested or still watching how bitcoin is working. But bitcoin is definitely growing in supporters regardless of nationality.

Yes bitcoin has started a new era of currency and though the governments of most of the countries may not accept it altogether but they can come up with something similar based on blockchain technology which is the backbone of bitcoin. Bitcoin has shown a way and is a ray of hope for lots of under developed and developing countries to make their economies better and flawless by adopting the basics of cryptocurrencies. Bitcoin has the potential to replace all the money in the future, but that is it, it is a potential, it is never going to happen countries see printing money as a sign of their sovereignty the only way to force that is if an economic crisis happens and people stop trusting in fiat and decide to trust in bitcoin.

I'm sorry but i disagree fiat money is still supreme over any digital currencies, keep in mind that fiat has been there for a long time and saying that it has potential to replace all money is wrong. Since it is not yet globally accepted currency, we cannot conclude that it can replace fiat money which is globally accepted.

You should read my post more closely, I said the potential was there, but that is it, it is a potential, that does not mean that it is going to happen, and in the rest of my post I explain why this is the case, governments of the world are never going to allow it.

The problem is most of us think of it right now as a commodity. Currencies dont have a large price like this, and maybe that is why we think of it like gold.
For me, it is okay for now to be like that. But at the end of the day it must become a currency for all.
Upgrades will come and I think that will be the key for it to be lined up with other currency.
Even if just an online one, which is being accepted by different known merchants like amazon and ebay.
