I did not receive any private messages or instruction from anyone before, and when I first created those graphics, not even from SN.

Cool! Best Bitcoin logos I've seen so far. Did you try the same layout with the official Bitcoin-coin?

Hi mate, thanks for the love. It it basically a flat version of the official Bitcoin, I just thought a flat version would read better on a smaller scale. By the way, good job on bitcoin exchange. Just bought some bitcoin over the phone a couple of weeks ago.

For those interested, the font used here for Bitcoin is called Ubuntu. Which you can find out more over here - http://font.ubuntu.com/

This is sweet, However the "B" in the circle is IMHO definately too small. It should fill up almost whole circle, because if You scale down the image, the "B" will not be visible. Same applies to this one: It looks nice, however i can hardly see the "B". And i have a proper vision. Imagine what trouble somebody with a worse vision will have.

Hi mate, I am releasing them under CC - Attribution Share Alike. Release it under no-attribution. If I'm making a website then I don't want to also have to include your name. In fact release it under a license which allows commercial changes to the images.

I don't mind at all releasing whatever graphic I have done for Bitcoin in the public domain, it's just that I have no idea in which license is the original logo done by Satoshi, especially the symbol. Is that symbol in public domain? I know this may sounds dumb, but it has to be, right? If it is part of an open source project. I am no lawyer or programmer familiar with this sort of things, I am just a bum for god sake. So perhaps someone can enlighten us.

Japanese copyright law forbidden it. Unless, Satoshi lived in the states instead of Japan or I am misinformed about Japanese copyright law.

Public domain in Japan
Hence, even when some materials are said to be "in the public domain" there can be some use restrictions. In that case, the term copyright-free is sometimes used instead. Many pre-1953 Japanese and non-Japanese films are considered to be in the public domain in Japan. There is public domain in every country to my knowledge.

It's released under the MIT license. CC-A would be most appropriate for your logos, I think. They could then even be included with Bitcoin without any trouble.
