Looks like what u have said has no fundamental difference with what I said. Not sure why did u say You're close, but not quite right either?

Because you said that a X% house edge means the house has X% more chance of winning than the player. However, that's not quite true in the generic case.

Let's say I want to 10x my money on PrimeDice. I have a 9.9% chance of winning, and the house has a 90.1%. That corresponds to a 1% house edge, even though the house has a +80.2% more win chance.

So it's better to think of house edge as "how much expected profit will the casino make" divided by the size of the player bet.
Yep. U r right. We can not make a statement like X% house edge means the house has X% more chance of winning than the player. I stand corrected. The statement should be...

A 0% house edge game is just 1% more likely to go bankrupt than a 1% house edge game.

Actually, we can also say that the longer we play, the more 1% of house edge is approaching to 1% of probability/chance of winning. That's why casinos always must win in long run - it is the guarantee of house edge and of course casinos limits - pure mathematic Smiley

Actually depends on the max bet sizes a site will allow.  A 1% house edge site with a 40 BTC max bet is more likely to go broke vs a 1% house edge site with a 20 BTC max bet.

Yes. But, the approach towards 0% or 1%, whatever the house edge be, it may be from 9% or 10%. That means, it is possible, that in the short run, house was winning more and it decreased in the long run. The exact opposite is also possible as well.

Thats weird I have never heard of a gambling site / game that has 0% house
edge. I guess their form of revenue would be advertisements then? Just seems odd
and would be afraid to deposit or win to much that they wouldn't pay.

I know right? I have never heard that such gambling site that has 0% house edge do exist, are they still earning?, just wondering. Anyways, if this gambling site that you are talking about do exist then I think that all of the gambling players all around the world would always gamble in this site because they would never lose, and they would grow their bitcoin bigger in this way. So, I presume that this gambling site's owner is a multi-billionaire because his gambling site has 0% house edge which means he is just giving his money to anyone that would gamble in his gambling site.

https://www.Chain-Bet.com has 0% house edge.

Is the owner of this site is still sane?, because this is really insane having a gambling site that has 0% house edge, lol, just saying. I bet that this person is a very rich one because he is just giving his money by setting his gambling site to 0% house edge so whoever plays on his gambling site would never lose, the players would just keep on winning until they are tired of winning.

0% house edge does not guarantee a win. But it increases your chance to win.

To be brief, 1% more chance to win than a site with 1% house edge. Smiley

Well technically 0% edge means that the outcome as bets go to infinity means that either side is favored. That is based on the assumption that all bets are taken with the same strategy and done by bots or computers.

However humans have emotions and even with 0% house edge they can still lose. Say someone has lost 5-6 times in a row, the strategy might suggest to keep on betting, the human might take their losses and leave while the bot would keep betting and might get breakeven or in a positive balance.

I wish to add that 0 % house edge sounds like that site will scam you in one moment, it`s better when site takes 1 % for them and it`s provably fair. This zero sounds like luring to go there and to think how we have much more chances to win. Smart question in first comment how will they pay some huge win? Do they take money from advertisement?
Pay a bit more and feel safe, that is how I think about this things. 1 % chances up or down doesnt make big difference for one player.

Yeah that is true but at least we have 50% chance to win double rather than 50% chance to win 1.98x. This matter has been solved though because with house edge you will not be able to win in the end and until now there is no site that give you 0% house edge unless they make some event or promo. Let say they made 0% house edge and i am sure they will scam you for sure because they can't get any profit if this stay longer

Chain-Bet.com, the ONLY game providing 0% house edge is provably fair and its fairness comes from the randomness of bitcoin blockchain's block hash. So, if u can not trust bitcoin blockchain, what are you doing in bitcoin?

Even if the games don't have an edge for the house the house can still beat you simply because it has more money than any of us so they can take longer streaks of losses while a player cannot.

Blastabit.com will be a 0% house edge gambling site. But it is not released yet. It is a player versus player gambling game. That needs a pair of player in order to play this game. They are under development, we hope there released will be a blast. And i hope it will not turn out to be a scam site. 'Coz i don't know where they get there profit in it if they are promoting 0% house edge. If that will be ads, they need a major work to do.

Lol there were only few. But honestly i don't believe it when people says that they do have 0% house edge that is merely saying that they are currently killing their own gambling site, just sayin anyways.

Practically it is not possible. I don't think a genuine site exists like that
