Of course experience matters because through this you learn from your past mistakes and wrong ways of playing. At start you think gambling as easiest way or think you are the luckiest guy who will always win. It is experience that clear your mind from many imaginary thoughts and put to realize what gambling is in fact.

Card based games maybe i don't see that really working in much else including sports.

Sports betting is also demand to have good experience in term of gambling maybe sometimes our prediction could be failed cause of some unexpected result, like card based games sports betting need some good skill there to win from sports matches.

but it is doesn't mean experience necessary here , experience not really important and affected so much to your gambling activity, even if on a player vs player game experience are not needed like you need a skills to play poker.

True. As long as you know how the game works you may have a chance to win.. like in poker or any card game playing with other people.. once you play the game continously it develops skills and experience which added an edge for you to win the game.

actually it is quite the opposite because when you are playing against the house (the casino) you don't need experience since all those games are games of luck you just have to know how to play!

but when you are playing against others that is when experience comes in. for example in a game of poker you need experience and only knowing the hows is not going to help you.

indeed it does but depending on what type of gambling game you're playing. there's a reason why pro gamblers are most of the time playing poker and other card games. since these games doesn't mainly rely on a person's luck. games like dice and slots, I don't think experience would give you any edge because these games are mainly reliant on luck as the results are random.

There are two kinds of gambling that can have different view about this stuff.  One is the gambling that is pre-dominated by skills, knowledge and strategy, this will surely need experience in order take advantage of every situation.  And the other one that is base on luck or chance, does not require experience to win.

I think it depends on what kind of game you are playing. If you are only playing dice and other luck/ chance base games, I can say you are right.  But with those games that requires knowledge and skills, experience is the best tool.

Type of gambling games do matters a lot, if you play a game with a house edge you will never be good even playing longer. The nature there is different, the long you play the more chances of losing you will experience. One should be wise enough to choose the game he thinks it will give him the best chance to win and that experience will play a vital rule in choosing such games.

experience could always help you in certain situation in gambling for me , when you come first time to a casino you have no idea what to do just stake money and do it repeatedly until you lost all your money but with experience you would know what the first thing to do even before you start gamble you know you have to have a plan , set a limit etc. this would give you a big difference to get a good result in gambling..

Because I do believe that experience in gambling sometimes matters and sometimes don't. It matters in a way that you can just easily take risk and sometimes don't because there are gambling games that doesn't require it.

If you play gambling for money, then experience matter. Without experience and just believe in luck and play means you will lose more money. So in this situation, we need more experience, but with the only experience, you can not make money you need luck also. According to me to make a profit in gambling Experience and luck both matters.
