The lack of accuracy that list has is scary. Just imagine how many orders are not listed. I know of a few personally. I'd venture to guess the real number of orders is about double that list easy. A quick calculation shows that page listing about 35K+ chips needed at minimum. Not including any Mini Rigs. Josh has stated just recently that they have IIRC 60K chips which will likely get them through last years pre-oders with maybe some to spare(Note: they under estimate everything). The network will become saturated quite quickly.

Chips have to be packaged remember, when they say 60k chips that might just mean 60 wafers that still have to be sent off to be packaged. Then they have to be tested and graded, of course there will be some duds. |

Then they have to be tested and graded, of course there will be some duds. Absolutely, but it also means that they have a design (the hardest part) and can order more. |
