The Faucet has run dry!

There are coins from the server, but at the moment I can't access them due to the fact that the faucet wallet is required to be on constantly by the faucet and the pool.

I could close the faucet and send the coins, but I don't want to close the pool, as that will cause clients to disconnect, reduce the hashing power and reduce the number of coins generated for the miners and the faucet.

Any ideas? (I don't have another computer I can readily access, I can't run VMs because they slow down the pool and I would prefer if I didn't have to give the account details to someone else).

has the pool still not found a block yet luke? i there must be more interest in this chain that i though if 5ghash hasnt discovered a block yet.

The coins are stored in a separate wallet.

What do you think about reducing the payout slightly? I know 0.1 isn't that much, but this thing goes through 30~35 BTE a day.

The block chain is the main innovation of Bitcoin. It is the first distributed timestamping system.

i say trust the market. If you are running dry by giving out 0.1 than lower the amount until you arnt running dry anymore. If you start accumulating bte than raise it back up again. But of course thats just my 0.01BTE

If one can not confer upon another a right which he does not himself first possess, by what means does the state derive the right to engage in behaviors from which the public is prohibited?

What about a dynamic payout? e.g { >20: 0.1, >10: 0.05, >0: 0.01 }

Implemented!

I think I'm just going to switch the wallet now, I'm sure the pool and server will be fine for a few minutes Smiley

EDIT: Sent 20 BTE over to the faucet Smiley

Thanks to Digigami who donated 250 BTE to the faucet!

It's the largest donation so far! Go check it out! All addresses and IPs are reclaimable to celebrate!

I decided that I have enough Bytecoins for now, time to spread the "wealth".

I switched my pool to donate the 2% fee to the faucet. Happy mining!

Doesn't seem to work with p2pool, use cgminer as said previously.
