It is a fresh compile for Ubuntu 16.04 64-Bit. Actual nodes are included so getting some connections should be no problem.

it is probably another scam shitcoin. I don't see any recent updates from devs. I hope they'll come with further announcements but you should prepare yourself for getting scammed.
