Hi everybody,

Since a week I am experimenting a weird behaviour from my miners. They are configured to mine on a specific pool with 2 backup port from the same pool (e.g. AntPool or ViaBTC (I tried both)).
In both cases after few hours of mining on the right pool, they unexpectedly start mining on a different pool (always kano.is) even though, on the configuration panel of the miners, AntPool (or ViaBTC) are still correctly set-up. The mining performed on kano is then not giving me any coins.

Here are some pictures of the configuration panel and of the status panel of one of my miner.

And the "mining profil" from AntPool.

You can see that mining is good for few hours until it completely shut down for few hours, because the machines switch to mining on a different pool (independently from my will).

Do someone have a suggestion for me about what is happening? It doesnt seem like someone hacked into my miners since the configuration panel is still in agreement with my set-up. I might be wrong.
Thanks in advance for your help Smiley

The default options as set out by bitmain on their miners make them all remotely configurable by design (morons) so someone is hijacking your machines. Learn how to configure the API and put your machine behind a firewall.

Hi,
Thanks for the answer. Unfortunately, I understand  that I need to change some settings but I am a bit clueless. I spend all day trying to figure out things.
For now I am reading that to try to get familiar with the topic:
http://schoolofdata.org/2013/11/18/web-apis-for-non-programmers/

I found the firewall settings when I browse into my machine but cannot figure out what to change.

If you have any tutorial or some clue about which information to google about that matter that would be helpful.
I changed password of the miner as a first try, but it didnt solve anything Sad

Thanks a lot for your time.
