To all miners and users of the UR client (gur):

Bad news and good news. The bad news is that we discovered that there was still a fork in the network. The good is that we realized that this fork was the cause of the bug that was preventing us from processing sign-up transactions. So, once everyone is on a single blockchain again we can immediately start processing signups.

Our solution to remove this fork is to provide a mandatory update to gur, and for everyone to install the update and resync. Some users who were on the incorrect fork may see balance changes in blocks 444000+. (The current block at the time of this writing is 497177.)

We've shut down the old  bootnodes, and the instructions below are intended to make sure that there is only one chain. The new bootnodes are NOT allowing connections from old clients, so if you can't connect, make sure you are running the latest client.

Here are the instructions:

1. Download the latest binaries from https://github.com/ur-technology/go-ur/releases  (Or build from the latest source on master at https://github.com/ur-technology/go-ur)

2. Remove (or move your blockchain). Make sure to remove both ~/.ur/chaindata and ~/.ur/gur/chaindata (or the equivalent directories, if you are on a non-Linux platform).

3. Remove any nodes cache: rm -fr ~/.ur/nodes && rm -fr ~/.ur/gur/nodes

4. Run gur and sync from the beginning of the blockchain. (This is the easiest way to do it, even though only blocks 444000+ were potentially affected by this fork.)

the UR blockchain is running smoothly and the problem has been isolated with high confidence. After much pressure testing, it seems that the issue was not with the UR blockchain at all, but rather caused by improper port settings.
We apologize that this has delayed your signup and referral bonus transactions, but I am very happy that it has to a much closer working relationship with our main mining pools and with Cryptopia.

There seems to be some kind of mismatch between the blockchain on our bootnodes and that of one of our peers. We are investigating now.

Couple of general updates:

1. We are working towards approaching additional exchanges now to increase the number of options for trading.  We have not pursued this very intensely until now because exchanges want to see a significant user base. So, your efforts have put us in a better position to get on additional exchanges. Also, we may ask you to vote for UR on certain exchanges or to request UR be traded on certain exchanges. Thanks in advance for your help in this matter everyone. Working together, we can make UR more valuable and useful for the entire community.

2. Cryptopia situation, we are well aware and working towards this with their team.  Once they've done with the full audit we are expecting Cryptopia fully return to normal state with UR.  We are doing our utmost to make ti happen soon as possible.

3. We have begun removing some of the biggest blocking sponsors, we anticipate remove majority of the blockers by end of this week.
