So, right now which is the algo that you guys are using for mining? (I'm trying to run a cpuminer to solo mine but not sure what algo to use).
Thanks in advance.

Local wallet is scrypt-n for first 500 blocks then it moves to Lyra2 based on what the Dev stated. We have also been trying to get it all right for our pool.

I do not see a reason why because it will take many hours :/

First 250 blocks are low reward (1 WRP) to avoid instamine, the algo will start at scrypt-n and change to a custom implementation of LYRA2 at block 500.
to be specific, is it Lyra2RE or Lyra2REv2?

Every coin needs to start with a base source. We choose zcoin because there's already a miner for it and already has zerocoin implemented on it. We are now building on top of zcoin. See our roadmap for more info.
