Wrapper's implementation has two mining algorithms. Scrypt-n and Zcoin's implementation of lyra2. The constants of the lyra2 algorithm are: T=2, R=block_height and C=256 from block 500 to block 8192. From 8192 block to infinity the constants will be change to T=2, R=8192 and C=256 to avoid memory issues. The first 500 blocks are minable with a scrypt-n miner or with the in-wallet miner. After that you can keep mining from your wallet, or you can choose a pool and mine with ocminer's "cpuminer-xzc". The ICO (Initial Coin Offer) of 10 Million WRP was hosted by c-cex.com. The offer will lasted three weeks, with rewards for early investors. The price schedule was the following:
-First week (12/11/16 16:00 to 19/11/16 18:00): 1050 Satoshi/WRP (30% reward);
-Second week (19/11/16 18:00 to 26/11/16 18:00): 1200 Satoshi/WRP (20% reward);
-Third week (26/11/16 18:00 to 3/12/16 18:00): 1500 Satoshi/WRP (No reward).
All times are GMT +0.
53% of the ICO was sold. 47% of the 10 million WRP that were allocated for the ICO will be burned by C-Cex (4724022.3499 WRP). https://i.imgur.com/hWd11wU.png https://i.imgur.com/vlHXPX8.pngThe Wrapper Team is building an I2P & TOR market that uses Wrapper as a transaction currency. Yes, we are looking for an escrow at the moment (if someone wants to recommend one we would be very grateful). You should take a look a good list of recommended escrows in the following thread. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=855778.0

Will be supporting this project. I was fortunate to have a short private conversation with someone on the dev team via Twitter. I was impressed with their assessment of the current (zerocash protocol) developments in the altcoin space and on this first look it seems they have the technological abilities to carry this project through.
Though it's an ICO, there's also a long-PoW mining component with linear-decay block rewards. I love that.

Please take a look at the "Tech" and "FAQ" sections in our website. http://wrapperproject.comI will copy this information to the thread later today. Just noticed that the white paper will be available in December 2016 on the page. You still need to add more details such as the total supply, and I still don't know who's in the team. 10 million coins will be mined on block 2 and distributed in our Initial Coin Offer (ICO). Through the next 7 years 30 million more coins will be mined. The reward of these blocks will be 20-0.000005*block height. After that there will be another 7 year period where 4 million coins will be mined at a constant rate of 2 coins for each block. After these two 7 year periods wrapper will be mined at a constant value of 1 coin for each block forever.

After these two 7 year periods wrapper will be mined at a constant value of 1 coin for each block forever. The supply in a given moment will depend of that moment. If you integrate the coin reward function from the moment the blockchain is born to infinity it will come out infinite but the rate at which coins are created slows down immensely 14 years from now (it will be one coin per block). About the team identity (that's the first question answered on our FAQ by the way): "Initially, and while we don’t hire anyone else, there are 3 people involved in wrapper. One main C++ developer, one designer and one developer that specializes in the I2P overlay network. Due to the project’s nature and concerns with its viability the identity of the team will not be revealed."

How will be these 30mln coins mined? (algo/distribution)?
Algo will most likely be lyra2 (the same as zerocoin). The mining distribution will be the following: "Through the next 7 years 30 million more coins will be mined. The reward of these blocks will be 20-(0.000005*block height). After that there will be another 7 year period where 4 million coins will be mined at a constant rate of 2 coins for each block. After these two 7 year periods wrapper will be mined at a constant value of 1 coin for each block forever." That's a linear decaying reward for the first seven years, then a constant reward forever, first of 2 and then 1 coin.

Cool. A few concerns: In your OP, you state in extremely small text that your whitepaper will not be available until December 2016, yet you ask for ICO funding before the release... You also say that you will not reveal your identity. You have posted from a noobie acct. The other privacy projects: zcash, zcoin, komodo do not share these issues. We know who the developers are. They have whitepapers. They are not asking for ICO money (except for komodo, but at least we have a whitepaper and know who the dev is). You might not be, but you sure look like a scam if I've ever seen one.

We still choose to keep the anonymity, a decision that will be mostly justified by what will happen after the protocol is implemented. We also heard you on the whitepaper issue and are working on it.

I'm all for freedom, don't get me wrong. But you cannot ask for people to give you money with no whitepaper, no product, and from an anonymous newbie acct. That's just crazy. The ICO didn't start yet and although you can already have a notion of where we are going with the fourier protocol you will be able to get a more in dept vision before it starts. Sure, I get a notion. A "vision" isn't enough though. That's like me starting a newbie account, creating a website, and asking people to give me money for SUPER-Zcash (like zcash, but WAY better). I host an ICO during the zcash hype. Then I say that I will produce a whitepaper to reveal my new tech to the world over a month after the ICO. People ask me who I am? Who the genius behind SUPER-Zcash is? I tell them that it's so super secret, I cannot reveal who I am because I will go to jail. Do you seriously not see how ridiculous that sounds?

Hey everyone!
We understand and hear your concerns and are changing our plans a bit to meet with what the people seem to be asking for.
The ICO will only start when the whitepaper is out (this should take less than 2-3 weeks). When the ICO ends the chain will start and the first version of the Fourier Protocol library will be available on github (something analogous to "libzerocoin"). The Wrapper chain will fork sometime around New Year's (no exact date yet) to add the fourier protocol functionalities.

At the moment one of our top priorities is to get some more developers on board after the ICO but I think we can get some translation and signature bounties running, yes!

The ICO is not available yet so that link is dead. We are preparing a detailed whitepaper so investors can understand our tech better before investing. It should be ready in less than 2 weeks. If you want to be informed and use twitter you can follow us at: https://twitter.com/WrapperTeam

Can you provide a section for newsletter update on your site to update us on the development and the ICO news.
Hey! I'll make sure we setup a newsletter section in our website. In the meanwhile you can follow us on twitter https://twitter.com/WrapperTeam?s=09I can also give you a small update right now since we've been a bit silent. Our whitepaper is almost done and ready to go public. We are polishing some stuff and getting the latex for the mathematical stuff done. We also have some news about the ICO. At first we were thinking about hosting it on our website and the code is already written actually, if you are curious you can take a look here: http://wrapperproject.com/ico/. We gave it some thought though and to try to be as transparebt as possible we are now hosting it at a relatively small exchange that's fully covered by swedish law called "novaexchange". It was one of the first exchanges to add zcoin so we're hoping we can also do well there. Thankyou for your interest, The wrapper team PS: In our website there's a section that's supposed to provide a bigger insight at what we are doing. It's called the "development blog"

Hey everyone. Sorry for the time we kept you waiting but we can now move on with the project. We have released the first version of our whitepaper, you can read it here. We are still waiting for it to be reviewed for an english speaking person but it shouldn't feel very rough around the edges. Our ICO should start in less than 24 hours and will last three weeks. You can read a bit more about how we are gonna do it in our website's FAQ and in the OP. We are also going to start tracking our weekly spending from day one and will present a report to investors every saturday starting today. Oh, and the development blog is officially active, check it out in our website. EDIT: If you have any doubts please express them here or through PM so we can add the answer to our FAQ.

We have directly answered this question in our FAQ. Let me copy-paste it. "Who are the people behind this project? Three people make up the core team of Wrapper: a main C++ coder, a designer, and a developer who specializes in the I2P overlay network. Due to the project’s nature and concerns with its viability the identity of the team will not be revealed at this stage."

Will you start a test net up before the end of the ICO to prove you have a working wallet with all the Fourier Protocol features you promised? You say the chain will be started straight after the conclusion of the ICO, and that means you must already have a working wallet. If we could test that wallet works for ourselves you would get more investors in your ICO.

Fourier will be pushed December 31rd just like stated here: http://wrapperproject.com/first-roadmap-is-here/, you can read our whitepaper to get a full in-depth view on why. We are working to get the code on github (won't have a valid genesis code but everything else will be valid).

We have some ideas on how to generate a steady income but that's still a bit further down the road. Right now the team is working on Wrapper as a second job and the ICO money will only serve to pay for outsourced work.

We don't invest in projects whose core developers are unknown or been hidden for the public. Good luck with your project. We are out... I agree with this. Anonymous developers in this case are very suspicious. Who can guarantee that you don't just take the fund and disappear? That's why I am also looking for real persons with credible backgrounds, and a credible company behind it.

In this case we are working with an escrow, meaning that a network WILL be delivered before the funds are released. Your concerns are completely valid though and we understand your positions. New post in our development blog. Something BIGWrapper was created with privacy in mind so it’s logical that use cases also involve private centered implementations. It’s with this in mind that today we are announcing something huge. Something that will shape the future of Wrapper like silkroad shaped the future of Bitcoin. Today we are announcing WrapperRoad. An I2P web market that uses Wrapper as it’s main transaction transaction currency. WrapperRoad is just like SilkRoad, only more secure because it uses Wrapper and the I2P network. This market enters the Wrapper ecosystem right at the beginning of its lifetime, proving a mean for WRA to gain value as a token used in real life exchanges instead of it being just a speculative vehicle. Why not TOR?Tor is, as story has shown us, very vulnerable. This makes it not ideal for the type of implementation we are thinking about. We are studying TOR implementations and it might happen. Not in the near future though. What now?At the moment the market is completely empty. We will be starting the process of getting vendors on board next week but are only aiming to open the first version of the market in 2017 when the Fourier Protocol is stable and the Wrapper blockchain proves itself as reliable. If you have some experience with I2P you can check the market here: http://kyh5mfbv3464fnzaoa2ode3qpv6chptkq7i76axtjnmjskcdi5fq.b32.i2p/ PS: The Wrapper team does not take any kind of responsibility for the goods exchanged on WrapperRoad. We advice every user to respect the laws of his corresponding country.

This is just one of many applications wrapper might have. And yes it's like Silk Road but it's on I2P and that makes it much more safe.

Exciting news for traders!
We've know this for quite a while but decided to wait to share it at the appropriate time. novaexchange.com will be supporting Wrapper as soon as the ICO ends! This exchange was the first one to add zerocoin so they have some experience with zerocoin based sources.

Update on our ICO: 28.5% sold.
We are still looking for the first sellers for WrapperRoad. Also, we are trying to build a small slack community on wrapperproject.slack.com.
If you want to sell on WrapperRoad and/or want an invite for our slack please PM us.

No problem, we are here to answer your questions. WrapperRoad is an I2P market we announced yesterday. You can read the announcement here: http://wrapperproject.com/wrapperroad-i2p-market/Basically it's like SilkRoad but for Wrapper. There are some very interesting details about WrapperRoad that we haven't announced yet so stay tuned.

The website will be something like ebay where sellers create accounts and list their products. The only payment system will be Wrapper.

it seem there is a POW phase, why you didnt mentioned that in thread? http://wrapperproject.com/faq/what is the distribution model for wrapper? 10 million WRA coins will be mined on block 2 and distributed in our Initial Coin Offer (ICO). Throughout the next seven years, 30 million additional coins will be mined via Proof-of-Work. After block 2, the block reward decays gradually and linearly, according to the equation: [20 – (0.000005)*(block height)]. After that there will be another seven-year period where 4 million coins will be mined via Proof-of-Work at a constant rate of 2 coins per block. After these two seven-year periods, wrapper will be mined via Proof-of-Work at a constant value of 1 coin for each block, forever.

After these two seven-year periods, wrapper will be mined via Proof-of-Work at a constant value of 1 coin for each block, forever. We had the entire FAQ in the thread but it was a bit big and people didn't read it all. It seemed like most people were visiting the website like you and getting to know the project before investing, understanding that the coin is POW. Some examples: (...) Though it's an ICO, there's also a long-PoW mining component with linear-decay block rewards.
How will be these 30mln coins mined? (algo/distribution)?
Anyways, we will add it to the OP.

We just published a new announcement in our development blog, "WrapperRoad fees and what to do with them". http://wrapperproject.com/wrapperroad-fees-what-to-do-with-them/In this last couple of days the biggest discussion in the wrapper team chat has been around the topic of how we are going to use the fees collected from WrapperRoad. We have now reached an agreement and would like to share it with our investors and community. The first thing we agreed on is that WrapperRoad will not, at least in its first months, exclusively accept Wrapper as the transaction currency. Bitcoin will also be accepted but we will recommend the use of wrapper as a mean of providing extra privacy. Paying with wrapper will also provide a discount over the base price of a product. The reason why we choose to do this is that we want to make it as easy as possible for users to switch from the current markets to WrapperRoad without a big hassle. We have also agreed on how we are using the fees we collect from the market. They will be used in the following way: Fees for payments made in Bitcoin: -60% to buy WRA directly from the open market and store it in the development fund. -40% to the development team. Fees for payment made in Wrapper: -50% to store in the development fund. -50% to the development team. The point of this fee distribution is to give back to the system while also contributing to the work of the development team. Thank you for your time, The Wrapper Team

The c-cex ICO rules recommend that coin developers provide Proof of Developer, Coinsource Trust Index rating, or a short video where coin developers introduce themselves. C-cex also states it can't vouch for coin developers because of scams and other negative events. Will the wrapper devs be providing Proof of Developer, Trust Index rating, or a short video introducing themselves? https://c-cex.com/?id=icoICO rules
9 Due to recent scams and other negative events, C-CEX can no longer vouch for coin developers. There is no way to verify a developer's identity or to prosecute an individual or team that abandons the projects or otherwise does not adhere to the stated ICO/coin terms without having a substantial legal infrastructure which we can not provide.
10 If the coin developers can not provide a POD (Proof of Developer) or Coinsource Trust Index rating, C-CEX will recommend the provision of a short video where coin developers introduce themselves and their coin and explain the basic concepts behind the coin and why they believe it can be successful.

Inthe meanwhile, if you are looking to invest, please read our whitepaper do you can understand what our tech and ideas are about and what the team specialises in (signal processing).

Want to invest, as I often do with these kind of new projects, but not without a couple of the basics being covered first like: - working chain
- source code (how hard is the to push to Git)
- dev. transparency (we don't know who you are)
For those reasons, I'm out...(all of the whitepapers, theory, concept and promises in the world can't replace the basic proof of a working coin and team).

Please keep in mind that the ICO funds are only released after the dev team proves to deliver a working blockchain.

We stated this in our slack but since not every investor is there we decided to post it here as well. As seen in our last spending report we spent 2 BTC in vyndine8's marketing services, we won't do that this week and are looking for another ways of promoting the project and its ICO. We will try to keep tweeting regularly and strengthen or bitcointalk presence.

How much total coin supply of Wrapper?
Distribution Model 10 million WRP coins will be mined on block 2 and distributed in our Initial Coin Offer (ICO).

How much total coin supply of Wrapper?
Distribution Model 10 million WRP coins will be mined on block 2 and distributed in our Initial Coin Offer (ICO). After these two seven-yea copy/past from thread. I think that was the answer MbakNarti wanted though

I think that was the answer MbakNarti wanted though everytime all your answers are almost copy/past, why dont you try to use your own style in writing to answer investors and BCT members questions, also to be honest the copy/past gives the impression that you dont know much thing in programming.

If we've written something before why should I go over it and reformulate when I have already an understandable explanation in the OP? Why does copy pasting have to do with our programming skills? I'm not really getting what you want to transmit here.

OK, the problem is you are anon dev + asking for 100 BTC ico + no one know if you are real Dev with programming skills (put yourself in the place of investors) + all the copy/past answers. Anyway i got the msg, no more posting in this thread and good luck.

Here is an example of an ICO that burned investors.. Anon dev, roadmap, website, and promises...WARP https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1329494.0for me ICO should start in January or February, dev should finish some things first before i get convinced. good luck guys Your suggestion is that we stop the ongoing ICO that already sold almost half of the 10 million coins and hang until February with 0.4 BTC and a big bill of servers (hosting the markets, nodes and website) and outsourced dev work (on the protocol) to pay every month? For that reason, I am out.

We are looking to get one more dev after the ICO though!

ICO running well, I am sure it will become a successful one. Developers are doing their best effort to make this coin be well- known. Although some are not trusting this coin, I am putting all mu trust because developers are in touch with us and lets see what this coin can do after the ICO will finish. Grab now while the price was not that high, so it will be a win-win for both of us.

I can see that it's price increased. Well I am hoping for the success of this coin. Since the developers has many great plans for this coin. ICO is working great and only a week is remaining in their ICO and we are all excited on what this coin can bring. Both for the developers and the investors. If you join their slack. You can see their ideas, plans and Promotions they are doing to promote this coin and to bring its best to compete in the market.

Yes. We will probably get the blockchain running a little before the ICO ends so people can move their coins as soon as the markets start moving. More details will be given this week.

Great, I was waiting for that to finish and I think the developers will then soon post another update after that happens, I think I see roadmap in their slack but I will not post here without their permission. Hmf? As what I've seen in that RoadMap. They will do great in December and at the start of New Year. Yeah ! Im really excited to that. And I'm happy that I am one of the investor in this ICO. Good Luck Guys

We are working in getting an interview going where we answer questions and let people know a bit more about the developer team since this seems to be very important for investors. Is there any update on your work to produce a short video introducing yourselves and your coin? You will make more from your ICO if you produce that video because few investors trust anonymous devs.

Hey! The source should be released one day before the ICO ends. That would be on friday 15:00 GMT+0 We decidided to start the wrapper blockchain one day before the ICO ends. This means our blockchain will start moving this Friday. Exact hours will be given Thursday.
Ah, then I misinterpreted some testing that was going on.. I thought the source was available (for them) already. No you didn't, the guys at minerhub.io asked us if they could test out the source and we told them the algo we are gonna run on (lyra2) and what our source would be based on (the zerocoin source) although that was already publicly available.. They've been on slack with us and we also have been helping them technically so they are ready for launch (it's their first zerocoin based source). Ah okay. Well I might add a pool at launch time then... Lets see how this turns out btw choosing C-Cex as ICO platform isn't the best idea probably.. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1680580Before deciding to go with c-cex we were almost choosing novaexchange but they had some legal problems and we were forced to find an alternative. Awesome to have you with us! I didn't they I'm with you already, I'll look at it after launch Nova has legal probs ? hmm .. Had no info about that You'd have to speak to them to get some more details.

Local wallet is scrypt-n for first 500 blocks then it moves to Lyra2 based on what the Dev stated. We have also been trying to get it all right for our pool.

First 250 blocks are low reward (1 WRP) to avoid instamine, the algo will start at scrypt-n and change to a custom implementation of LYRA2 at block 500.
to be specific, is it Lyra2RE or Lyra2REv2?

Every coin needs to start with a base source. We choose zcoin because there's already a miner for it and already has zerocoin implemented on it. We are now building on top of zcoin. See our roadmap for more info.

Blocktime is 12 minutes but it can suffer wild variations in the begging since the hash power being thrown at the network is changing quickly. Anyone else experiencing this problem?

The networkhashps parameter when you do "getmininginfo" is a good estimative after the networkhash settles for a bit. In the meanwhile you can have an idea by seeing how much hash pools are throwing at it

We were investigating why the blocks were taking a lot more than 12 minutes and our conclusion is that miners threw a lot of hash at Wrapper in beginning in the hopes of instamine the first coins. That attempt was unsuccessful and miners left, leaving us with a high difficulty. This will make the next block take a lot longer to mine but should be solved when the diff is updated. Which happens every 5 blocks. https://github.com/wrapperproject/wrapper/blob/master/src/main.cpp#L2119When the network hash stabilizes we should get near the 12 minutes per block mark. You can help us by mining with your wallet ("setgenerate true" in the console).

UPDATE We are now entering the last 26 hours of our ICO. You can join here: https://c-cex.com/?p=wrp-btcWe've been monitoring the network and it is looking healthier, difficulty went down as expected and although still a bit more block times are now closer to 12 minutes. We will soon post a blog entry detailing why the 12 minutes since we've been asked that question a lot. (The TL;DR is because the Fourier Protocol takes some extra time to compute stuff).

Waiting till block 500 to see if pool works. So far this has been a difficult project and it's been hard to actually talk to a dev. May be pulling the plug on this one. Will wait and see.
We've been constantly online on our Slack and ready to help pools in what we can.

Here are some more details of our mining, we are adding them to the OP. From block 0 to block 500 you can use a normal scryptn miner. After that we change to lyra2. The constants of the lyra2 algo are: T=2, R=block_height and C=256 from block 500 to block 8192. From 8192 block to infinity the constants will be change to T=2, R=8192 and C=256 to avoid memory issues. From block 500 you will be able to mine with ocminers zcoin miners fork. Miner: https://github.com/ocminer/cpuminer-xzc

It's based of on the block height through the function GetNfactor.
main.cpp:
(...) scrypt_N_1_1_256(BEGIN(block.nVersion), BEGIN(thash), GetNfactor(block.nTime)); (...)
Vertcoin based.

Your going to get a lot yes because it's the wrong algo and the pool resets the connections. We shall see how it goes as soon as the new algo kicks in and we can tweak it as needed. This was a very wonky algo and it's honestly very problematic.

How much BTC was raised through the ICO and can we get an idea of how that money will be used in the short-term? Perhaps a Bittrex listing? It would likely be but a very small percentage of all that was raised anyway and worth the money as it would have more volume and a more attentive staff than C-cex. YoBit is a cheaper option with more activity than C-cex as well.

We are working in getting WRP listed on other exchanges, please understand that we've been trading for 1 day. This things take time. We already made contact with bittrex and sent a tweet out to YoBit, waiting for their. Also, we don't have access to the ICO funds just yet since they are locked for 5 days after the ICO ends (according to CCex's ICO rules). As soon as we have them we will provide a special "Spending Report" like the ones we've been doing every week.

The weekly spending reports were great, so definitely keep it up when applicable

That's a fight on my block See the OP says wrapper. i2p market,,...,, and devs name is wrapper. The wrapper account u see posting right now is preserved by silly baseball pitcher. Shame. Pitcher is on the same level of understanding tech as my cat and talks about stuff as if he developed it. Wrapper. U re not a wrapper. Someone made this coin for him.

Can we get the actual dev to join the convo to add some transparency to the project. I think what some people are saying because of how your the Middle man and it's pretty obvious that you didn't actually develop the coin and had someone clone another project for you to base off of. Maybe a little more transparency to the public is in order. Usually Devs have no issues jumping in on a convo. This way you can put and did to rest.

What are the questions people have? We are a team and my job is to moderate and answer investors doubts and concerns, the developer who is currently working on the Fourier Protocol and that cloned Wrapper is not a random person we hired, he's with us and is part of the project. We have a strict roadmap we are following and have been delivering and building upon it since the beggining (even before the ICO launched), if there are concerns please explain them directly here, via Slack or via PM and I'll answer them ASAP.

He's obviously the company spokesperson and has been extremely responsive in the slack to all questions and here as well. I think the devs are taking a precautions step in revealing their identity with their upcoming Tor/I2p marketplace soon to be released. The coin overall seems to be revealing more when it's necessary to do so. I find this refreshing.

Actual dev speaks commandments to the guy behind the wrapper account, and he updates the thread. The dev is a lurker mostly, hasnt been showing up on forums for a prolonged period of time. Maybe hes on his periods or something. Guy hiding behind the wrapper account manages the thread and is likely a baseball pitcher, with no technical background to construct adequate updates. He talks for the sake of talking. Someone who made this coin may re-appear soon and deliver more substantial insight into whats going on with the actual i2p tech. Built-in miner is a joke move of course.

And in-wallet miners have been common since altcoins became a thing. I don't get why this guy feels personally afflicted by a miner or anything about I2P...

Are you going to release a new wallet? The current one is still running Scrypt for the built-in miner. Do you guys even know what you're doing? http://imgur.com/a/tbgXY

The weird thing is that now the blocks are being found quicker than before. I would expect less blocks with the new algo (which now I don't know if it's the same as the zcoin or what)

Are you going to release a new wallet? The current one is still running Scrypt for the built-in miner. Do you guys even know what you're doing? http://imgur.com/a/tbgXYYes we do. Take a look at our main.cpp here: https://github.com/wrapperproject/wrapper/blob/0cb1a4ea53b50b0c056be525fecd4551de94142b/src/main.cppPlease read line 6258. The debug.log will show a message saying it's running a scrypt miner even when lyra2 is running (line 6293). Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We will fix it now. We have been test mining here without difficulties. Great news! We are successfully past block 500 and are now running lyra2. Difficulty is adjusting.
The weird thing is that now the blocks are being found quicker than before. I would expect less blocks with the new algo (which now I don't know if it's the same as the zcoin or what) Difficulty is still adjusting but it should settle in 12 minutes soon.

We are aware of problems with the "getnetworkhashps" function and are working on it. We are also hiring another developer soon so we can speed things a bit in the development end.

Due to the issues with this coin and the fact that it is hampering our reputation with miners we will be disabling this coin until further notice and a algo update fix has been applied.

Welcome to the toxic hell that is bct altcoin boards. Unfortunately trolls like this ruin it for a lot of people-- they're no longer strategic fudders trying to buy low, they're more likely butthurt ICO buyers who are having a tantrum over an underwater position on an ICO buy. It's why legitimate discussion has moved to slack, twitter, other boards, or pretty much anywhere else.

I have a Giza-sized bunch of questions. All about i2p relay. I didnt know there was a slack channel. Anyways Im not hanging on in there. I will unlikely join. Better have him (the person allegedly developing the claimed in the OP tech) release the whitepaper, it will be my pleasure to read up on it. I still think he hasnt got enough technical savvy to do a paper. This tech is one of the most promising technologies being worked on in telecommunications and computer networks as of now. Sadly, its not gonna go along with the draft proposed in the OP and dev's commitment to it.

We are working on something we call "Fourier Protocol", it's being worked in the dev branch and you can read more about it in the OP, our website or our whitepaper.

"Until this moment there was also no noteworthy solution to the problem with the size of the blockchain, with users relying on Moore’s Law to solve the this problem."
English is not my first language, but I think 'the', in this case, shouldn't be there.
Just an observation. I'll keep reading.

"One of Fourier’s advantages is that, unlike the zerocoin protocol a lot of less code is needed to implement it, the first version of the protocol is has less than 6 files."
Maybe should be better to read again the paper before posting it? Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to FUD your work, but to be honest, it will be better if the paper was written in a more appropriate way.
Just saying.

" The Fourier Protocol then takes this address and the the hashed transaction ID and creates two sinusoidal waves, ..."
Ok, this is the last mistake I'll post. Again, please don't get me wrong; it's just that I think that a paper should look as professional as possible.

As the name suggests, this is the first version of the whitepaper. English is not our first language as well but we will contact a native speaker to go over the writing. And maybe we should make the whitepaper a little more visible in the OP, seems like a big part of the people that read it don't notice we have one.
EDIT: It's being done right now.

You'll see the mining speed by writing "getmininginfo" into the console

C-cex just burned the unsold ICO coins. Their tweet: "WRP ICO leftover coins burned to non-wallet address: a68c87975a7586d8b00d2c6d2ee971629e1f3846590883f9f5fbfb2cd07764f9" In wallet mining look strange, blocksize changes , "hashespersec" : 0 most of the time??
(..)
We are working on getting this fixed but it has to do with lyra2 not being completely backwards compatible. Is there any use in mining then? or are u going to reward me to for finding the bug? We knew about this bug before it has been talked about in our Slack and we said we were correcting ita few posts ago. Mining works and you can find blocks normally. Yeah. The team is fixing all the bugs of the coin. And if you will join the slack, you will see that they are very responding. They are doing their very best to stabilize the coin yet they are criticized by this people who don't know what's happening. They are dumping their coins for no reason, that's being unprofessional in trading. Well, Let's see what this coin can do. And its future updates.

Great news. The new wallet is almost ready, will be available monday. This wallet will solve the problems pool have been having with the algo by changing it to normal scrypt (litecoin, dogecoin). The fourier protocol implementation is still on track to happen in new years making our last roadmap still valid.

We are still here and although out policy is to not comment on the market price we can say we haven't "self-bought" our ICO.

That's funny - ever since the Nimbus dev violated me anally i'm interested in people who 'r attracted to animals. It's anamalistic, almost beastlike. Man, those coin devs are not only taking our money, they also take our PRIDE, our DIGNITY and our good FUCKING SENSE OF GODDAMN SEXUAL PREFERENCES GODDAMNIT WHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHRRRRRRRRRRRRUUUUUUUUU. I feel you man, i feel you. Oh yeah, i'm not buying this coin. I'd rather bang the Nimbus dev his hairy Brazillian gf, reminds me of a beaver.

Hey Wrapper team, So now that the ICO funds are secured, we would all like to see frequent updates to the dev blog and a more developed road map that has estimates how the ICO funds will be used. This road map should, at the bare minimum as a starting point, answer questions like: Will exchange additions be paid for? Will a block explorer be paid for? How will the funds secure the creation of a market? And if there are any long term plans for continuing the funding of this project once ICO funds are exhausted.

Yes I agree, now with the funds in the hands of the dev's a BE and more exchanges should be sought. Surprised NOVA hasn't added considering they were thinking of hosting ICO>

I can't believe he was this involved and didn't realize it was a scam, being in this space for a long time. Long after the shit hits the fan he comes along and says "what the hell happened?" when all investors know less than him. Not very believable. At worst he is the "Dev", at best he shilled it and dumped. There are no good guys in crypto, just ones who haven't tried to fuck you yet. Are you trying to "fuck" us too ?! Is there any proof that wrapperdev is notsofast. This doesn't sound believable at all. I myself tweeted "That this ICO is a Zcoin clone. Almost 100% & devs promised to "become more". Anyone who can read code saw that it's a Zcoin close. The only thing that made wrapper different... were the graphics. The only one you should blame is yourself.

I take risks and lose, same as anybody else. WrapperTeam contacted me first, asking for advice. I gave them some advice and we struck up a conversation through which I decided I'd give them some help. They seemed legitimate to me through our conversations and if that was a long con/social engineering attack designed to fool me all along, then shame on me, but damn did they put a lot of work into it. I could publish screenshots of twitter dms between myself and WrapperTeam but I suppose I'd just get accused of using a puppet account or photoshopping the conversation. hungry mama, thanks for your opinion, but I don't have time to run more than one account or internet identity. I have my own trading and my own projects. Supporting/shilling projects and opportunities I like and have bought into is something I do because a) I am enthusiastic about crypto and b) I like to share that enthusiasm with others who like crypto. It's unfortunate if anyone-- including me-- lost BTC we bought Wrapper with, but I can't apologize for that because I don't own anyone else's decisions, only my own.

Has anything changed for you in the way you make decisions or do you think you were careful enough and that you were simply unlucky? Well, the altcoin launch game did undergo a change from 2015 to 2016. The shitty scam projects started to have to work harder to appear legitimate. The bar for that is higher. Like, it's really easy to debunk a devdump altcoin launch that has a block reward of like 6 coins and a "low" 10% premine but a coin cap of 500 billion... the scam devs are now starting to run what looks like a proper project on its surface. In terms of Wrapper specifically, even though I'm not a mathematician/coder, I could see the value in creating open source code that would make zcoin/zcash blockchains work more efficiently, which is what they explained to me they were trying to do. That, plus the courteous and frequent conversations with Wrapperdev gave me some confidence that their project was worth seeing through. Alarm bells didn't go off for me until the broken code in the launch wallets went unfixed for so long. Where I'm going with this: I have a big set of criteria, some weighted heavier than others, which I use to determine what to support or speculate on. The criteria are weighted differently and some deal with reducing risk, while others deal with maximizing profit. I learned really early on from other traders/altcoiners that it's worth it to talk to devs privately. You can gather information, feel out their legitimacy, and sometimes gain an opportunity to help. So to answer your question, no, I probably won't abandon my decision criteria, though I will take to heart the lesson that some devs may in fact be communicative only for the purposes of the long con, and likely be a little more suspicious. As far as lucky/unlucky... launch altcoin speculation is a numbers game, where a big win can wipe a lot of small losses. So exposure to "bad luck" or riskier/scammier projects is minimized, while I load more into better bets and let winners run. I could have lost 10x what I did on Wrapper and still been up for the year due to being in DBIC really heavy earlier in the year. So in terms of risk management, I think I was careful enough. If Wrapper was a premeditated scam rather than a fail-and-abandon situation, then I feel dumb, but I didn't take a heavy loss, so my risk management is working. One thing that has changed for me is having a lot of people watching what I'm doing. It's a new element that I'm still adjusting to... the idea that I could be held responsible for decisions other people make because they're following me. Most people should know it doesn't work like that but emotions are not completely absent from trading and I'm just some semi-anon asshole out there so if something goes wrong for someone who followed me, hey, why not blame notsofast. All I can do is be truthful and direct, and if I'm accused of lying or scamming, then fuck, so be it, I'm not really going to change. I'm conscious of wording things in a way that doesn't look like investment advice, like, I'll say "I bought this coin" or "this looks decent" instead of "you should buy this coin" or "buy [coin] now or cry later". Real talk: I could say whatever, and if you follow me and lose, that's 100% your fault. But I try to aspire to a standard above that, and be a good example, and if I fuck up, I fuck up publicly and cop to it. Whether or not you believe me is up to you.

this is starting to look as if the dev's just abandoned the project the second they got access to the funds. it was scam since the beginning (copy/past answers), and he will appear again with new scam c-cex ico in near future. When I asked the dev if he would produce a short video introducing himself he refused. C-cex recommends that's the minimum a dev should do to prove he's legit. I wouldn't recommend investing in any c-cex ICO whose dev won't prove who he is. C-cex itself says it has hosted so many scam ICOs that it can't vouch for any ICO dev. If this coin's dev starts a new scam c-cex ICO he won't prove who he is.
We are working in getting an interview going where we answer questions and let people know a bit more about the developer team since this seems to be very important for investors. Is there any update on your work to produce a short video introducing yourselves and your coin? You will make more from your ICO if you produce that video because few investors trust anonymous devs. We made contact with a crypto related podcast and if everything goes well we should be on soon. We won't be launching a video and it was never stated anywhere we would do it.
