Nothing!

Is anyone getting any updates? BitMessages don't even confirm anymore...

Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

he is still active on twitter: https://twitter.com/doublec

Thank you for the link.

It is somehow reassuring to know he is a real guy, but hey... this thread started on 2nd of April, more than 6 months ago...  Angry
It isn't clear to me if his promises are still valid or not.

Has anyone been refunded in the last, say, 30 days?

Again - nothing.

Does anyone have a functioning BitMessage address or PGP for him - reluctant to start hitting his twitter feed, but if he doesn't start updating us soon, it's the only option.

I think a scheduled status update every 2 weeks or something should be in the interest of both sides.

I caught him on #namecoin on freenode a couple weeks ago.  Asked if he was still using bitmessage as I was unable to send to him.  He said he was traveling and would be able to run bitmessage in a few days, however my bitmessage never reached him.

Also as soon as I mentioned the NMC he owed me he didn't say anything back in IRC.  I have very little faith in recovering my coins.

Just wanted to let you know that he is still recovering.

yeah I agree, Doublec is probably extremely overwhelmed, so maybe backing off and letting him do his work would be more productive, working under stress is bad enough, but trying to figure out who to prioritize all the time, that makes it even harder.

If you think my efforts are worth something; I'll keep on keeping on.

Thanks to all of you guys!

Your feedbacks are good news and they restored a big chunk of my confidence. I will try sending DoubleC another reminder by email and then let you know.

I received my funds some days ago.

After my last email, DoubleC promptly answered me asking for my addresses and to confirm the amounts resulting from the recovery. He also said it could take up to 48 hours of time because he was travelling with limited internet access.
About 24 hours after my reply, he sent me the funds.

After some dubts from my side, I now think that DoubleC is really doing his best to resolve the problem.
So, AFAICT, the recovery is still going on and I hope you all receive your funds soon.

Thanks to DoubleC for the hard work and to all users for updating their status.

Received all my coins yesterday.

Thanks for letting us know - I guess you didn't have any transactions pending like the others who have received funds recently?
It looks like those that were trading at the time are the real headache, but it's reassuring to see money still coming out of the exchange.

Yes, luckily I had no open orders at the time.  Hopefully everyone will eventually be made whole.

i know it's not good to talk about how much your funds that returned but i'm just curious

Can i ask question like
... is there someone who have more than 30BTC in bitparking and still wait or already got returned funds ?

if you concern about privacy you can message me here or email me an a anonymous email via my nitoniwatori@gmail.com

Or is it any good if we made some list of peoples who got returned or waiting list ? (or even how big funds that returned or waiting)

I know this is helpless for the process but is there someone here want to know it too ?

at least we see the pictures of progress ... and it's like reward back to DoubleC for his work ...
