Yeah, because people just forgets about tournament but they are in the table of participants. I don't like this situation too and support idea of comfirming the participation in a tournament (1 hour before the start)

An hour a lot can change. 15 minutes before the start of the tournament you need to conduct a census of players who are online!

Might i suggest something, the weekly tournament with this format like the top 32 or 64 is fine.. because its not the fault of the admins rather the players. They players have 6 days to play and climb. also a suggestion would be rather than the balance the amount won with bets because people cna just buy ROUND at the end min.

Also for the big tournaments with bigger price money i think you can now put up registration with some entry fees.
