I notice that Mt Gox seems to be throwing 502 Bad Gateway errors and is running slow(er than normal). I can barely access the site (my internet seems to be fine. Is anyone else having this problem?

Could this be a DDOS attack?

I guess a server update is happening.
Multiple reports are coming in about a account number change.

I find it is always a good policy to spring an upgrade on your users without warning and in the middle of a busy trade session!

They're also discussing the downtime over on reddit, but from what I can tell no one has posted relevant info yet.

Has anyone checked the MtGox IRC channel? I can't get on

Might this be a good old fashioned server meltdown?

Volume seems to be stuck at 125057, along with prices, for the last hour or so.

I'm curious why MtGox thinks its advantageous to lie to it's customers on twitter.  This is obviously not lag due to "trading volume" :/

Now it says: "please wait a bit"

Doesn't feel like Mtgox.
I hope nothing is wrong again... ugh.
