Any wallets for Windows available yet ?
what? this is a GPU miner thread... plus zcash doesn't even get released till the 28th, AND has already stated there will NOT be windows wallets on launch... please do some research before coming into a thread with useless questions... or for god sake alteast READ the OP... Buy a better fucking attitude.. thnx lol well I guess you got your answer, albeit a little harsh There is a windows miner, but i have nowhere to send the coins. Am i supposed to setup a crappy linux machine for a wallet ? Thats just stupid. Until there's either stratum support in the Windows GPU miner or a Windows wallet, you're still bound to linux interaction even with this Windows GPU miner in order to create a ZCash address. A third option is if a trusted exchange supports it immediately and you use it as your mining wallet (which is frowned upon by pretty much every exchange since the beginning). Yeah i will wait for an exchange or the nicehash miner release. Any wallets for Windows available yet ?

About greed, greed is the rush to launch a project without even having descent wallets ready. The hype is real. Multiple sites are reporting that Jaxx has pledged to support zcash 'within days' of it's release.

One other thing I am wondering on is: Latency, does that have any impact on performance? In my test my initial latency average was around 730ms. I assumed it was tied to connection speeds/pool etc.

No it is impossible to know until mainnet goes online and it has a slow start for rewards first 20k blocks.

Ivanech Arceny Try precompiled kernel from kernel_R92xx_linux_14.4. Copy it to miner directory and launch again. orionpaxx12
Thank you! Now I have miner started founding shares. The result for R9 270x: [GPU 0] T=-1C A=-1% sols=6.100 [GPU 1] T=-1C A=-1% sols=5.969 [GPU 2] T=-1C A=-1% sols=6.136

What kind of sols/s is typical for a nano/fury/fury x? Nano & Fury X is fastest AMD cards available for this miner, but shows only 20-22 sol/s (same as GTX1070). Yes, but now priority target is optimizing miner, keep it fastest as open sourced XPM miner

I run zcash in my gtx 750ti with this: server = "coinsforall.io"; port = "6668"; # Your ZCASH payout address address = "zthTb2ToG5kuAc11Ni6NxoYjoxQdEr2XvST7XEdLvmHG9k7kotEcwYCaAn1SH4zRdPoXn9kNeFm8CQo k9SNtNgn8d9WcdTK"; # You can give this machine a custom name # Computer name is used as default # name = "worker_name"; # Platform: # "amd": AMD GCN cards # "nvidia": NVidia Maxwell cards platform = "nvidia"; # GPU crash handling (properly untested feature): # 0 - do nothing # 1 - close miner application # 2 - reboot system (need superuser rights) onCrash = "0"; # - The following settings have one entry per GPU # - If you have more than 4 just add more entries or leave it as is to use defaults # - All entries must be separated by commas and set between double quotes # 0 = don't use device # 1 = use device devices = ["1"]; # work sizes worksizes = ["256"]; # threads threads = ["8192"]; # -1 means don't change corefreq = ["-1"]; memfreq = ["-1"]; powertune = ["-1"]; fanspeed = ["-1"];

How many RAM is recommended when running 5 GPUs? Or does it only count when you mine with CPU?
