Will there also be an optimization for the older r9 280x cards? That would be great
Yes, r9 2xx cards more affected by this optimization.

Getting 27 sols/s with GTX 1070 on new Nicehash miner with CUDA
Already found optimization for all card, GTX1070 benchmark shows 73.9ms kernel time, it's a 27sol/s. Today will be released.. but high CPU load is NVIdia OpenCL implementation problem, not a miner bug. I'll try fix it.. or go back to CUDA and Linux is much more resistant against high CPU load than Windows...

Yes, r9 2xx cards more affected by this optimization. Is that the same as the R9 390? That is the most popular cards in the Ethereum mining a few months ago.

NiseHash miner gave me 21 sol/s on 1080 @ 50% PowerLimit, and 27 sol/s on 980ti at 60% The miner could be optimized more , I think...

I think my cpu is overheating because it mines for a while then drops out and restarts.
How do I lower the amount of threads being used?
Nicehash miner.

FYI with Latest commit (801b16f) from Github. Using a R9 290x and Driver version:2117.7 (VM) - Crimson I get: [GPU 0] T=-1C A=-1% sols=16.510

A previous dev who created a miner for BTC is claiming to be getting around 40sol/s.
He just released on github.
Can anyone get this going on windows?

This is a solver, not a working miner.

I have a 1080GTX on an older Intel i7 2600k, and with standard settings, I get about 20 - 22 sol/s. When I reduce the thread count to 4096, it gets a little bit better and I get around 22-24 sol/s. I guess it is because of the high CPU load of the current version with nvidia gpu's. Can someone try that out and confirm or disprove this?

I think this is the fastest so far. Will wait for windows release too! If it works out it will be better than Toomim

Looks like we will be in businesses and fully competive to the best private miners out. Funny how greedy some people are and others just donate it to the community.

Money brings out the worst in people it seems. You can't fault people for doing what's best for them. That's the world we live in unfortunately. If toomin doesn't do it someone else will. And good news, this miner does not have my last optimization, I begin merge to produce a 50+ sols/s miner, wait a hours... thanks to qwep1
