According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

Thats great news, eXtremal
Maybe you put up a donation adress?
If I can use your miner I will surely donate.
Stratum support would be nice too

Anyone tested a R7 370 on Linux yet?

Would be interested, my R7 370 miner doesn't work so well for ETH in this times, maybe zcash is an option.

This is more related to the nicehash Cuda miner, but I thought I'd put the question /concern out there. Haven't tried it with this miner, but I'm guessing the results could be similar because this one had issues with cpu usage.

any reason gpu mining speeds would be affected by the processor type / speed/ddr memory ? noticed im getging 18 sols/s on celeron with gtx1070 vs 27 on the same card and i7. i thought all the gpu processing should occur on gpu,so cpu should not matter. not even seeing any load on the cpu.

Awesome! Going to try that on testnet with my RX 480's... Nice work! I'll post my results here as well with OC and with stock.

Hi, I plan to mine on Windows.

I understand the only way to generate a z-addr is through linux.

If I create a real z-addr on my Ubuntu VM, will I be able to use that same address in my .bat file for Windows mining?

Sure, payouts will go to that address though, so you will need to have access to that wallet to get your tokens.

Hi, Inan!
I have 2 questions:
1. When will the new release?
2. Is your branch of the miner for the Russian-speaking community on the Bits.media forum?

Good luck!

Couple of questions:

1. I see that this is optimized for Ubuntu 16.04 with current amdgpupro driver. Will it work on 14.04 with amdgpu? I can update to 16.04, of course.
2. does it reliably work on multiple GPUs?
3. can anybody post sols of a rig of six RX 470 if it does, or is it better to run simply on good CPU, like i7 or FX?
