its really sad to see a decent site go down for what i consider a very simple case a bad management.. but as we all know there are 10 new sites for every old one that dies!
Hi, can anyone confirm it is permanently down this time? Any source? I've got one bet there still open (1 bitcoin). Any info i appreciate. Reddit forums do not say much about this issue. Also mails to info@bitbet.us are not responded. I still refuse to believe this is down permanently. Again: any source of information is welcome. We are back up Very nice to see you back! Game On.

Bitbet.us is not shutdown by the government or any serious thing that may stop bitbet.us.It is just the domain name expired and the site owner or developer didnt renew or pay for it again because maybe site is not earning a good amount to pay with the domain expenses I think the owner already posted here above check his post he said their site is under ddos attack that is why the site was down few days ago.. and i think they already fix the issue. the site is now active and i think you can now contact the support which is already posted here check the post above.. Did you somehow miss our post?

Seems that new bets take too long to get accepted.
There are pending bets that date back to June 16 ... and the first punters already put the money of course...
Please review the pending bets

Be smart and don't put your money in this 99% scam. You could just browse Scam Accusation section or read the whole topic. They came, set a bookie, gained some trust and then disappeared with all the clients money.

Scam accusations looked like false alarms, and the issue described here apparently was solved, the site went back online... so i was confident and i have created a few bets and put 0.12 BTC total. But now i see that the site has issues again ( 404 Not Found ) and the support does not reply to private messages neither... very fishy. Luckily i have not lost that much

Luckily i have not lost that much Its hard to tell what is going on with this website. It can either be abandoned, a scam, or just a lazy dev (busy with other projects). But at the moment with the way this site is being handled I think its best to just be cautious with your BTC and play somewhere else. If the dev doesn't have time to fix these issues then its probably not a good idea to do business with them.

It's gone? I haven't even heard of the name and it's gone already?
That's pretty bad news for any gambling site. People should really avoid these kind of gambling sites and just freaking play at the famous ones. I don't see any advantage of playing on those new sites and possible scam ones. What's the difference of those casinos to those that are well played at and reviewed vs. those that are a nut's hair away from the brink of destruction? Your pick.

The thing is people dont even believe a scam accusation these days even after showing a lot of proof. Why people still invest into these scam sites. When they cant hold on to their own domain, why will they even reply in the support system. It shows that they are not serious about their users. The best thing is to stay away from these sites and gamble only in top sites.

Hopefully they will return again... but still disappointing to see a second extended downtime.

Last time the site was down for more than 2 weeks without word or notice. They returned then and paid out all due bets and continued to operate paying out some big bets, like the French election, in the mean time. This time it's only been 1 week. It's possible the owner hasn't even noticed yet, he seemed an honest guy but wasn't the most active at maintaining the site.

I thought this site was very interesting and have hired a developer to create a similar one hosted by Bitcoin.comI would love some feedback from the community on what features you would like it to have. The developer has started a thread about it here: https://forum.bitcoin.com/topic32927.htmlPlease post your feature requests there, and we will build it.

this is a fake site,A governmental body in any jurisdiction would be fairly limited in their options to eliminate bitcoin. They may be able to regulate and hinder the two-way convertibility with political currencies but that is more of a conversion issue rather than an attack against bitcoin transactions directly. Practical elimination of bitcoin would therefore require shutting down the telecommunications infrastructure that facilitates the peer-to-peer technology of the distributed block chain. Perversely, this action would hinder the rest of the e-commerce activity that occurs online.

I have used Bitbet.us occasionally for years and had 1.5 BTC in open bets on the site. Considering that the site has been down for days without any announcement, I am concerned that the owner chose to take the money and run.
However, I can confirm that none of my deposit transactions have yet been moved.
Oh, that's sad, never leave such amount into a site wallet, the probability of you be scammed is enormous, always transfer ASAP your Bitcoins to a desktop / hot wallet. BTW, what's going on here? I see the site is down, is there another thread about bitbet.us? Also there is a new member account here, so everything is OK now?! Did you get your btc back?

Wow, didn't think the big Roger Ver "Bitcoin Jesus" would actually be active in the gambling topics. I've used your forum before, however why is it whenever I make a post, I have to go thru CAPTCHA twice. The first time doesn't work and then I have to do another CAPTCHA again before my post is registered.

Well there is proof, that if the site is very close to domain expiry what does it tell you about its reliability. Most people renew their domain well advance of 6-12+ months and they renew it for maybe a decade so they won't forget. Also domain renewals are very cheap, if they can't afford it or they are cheap, then imagine what kind of solvency problems they might be having if they can't afford to even pay their domain renewals.

The domain name got renewed, although BitBet hasn't paid any bets in weeks. Actually, since right when Irma made landfall in Florida.
