Trading is more risky as it is fully gambing. You can not know what is going to happen and if a coin or a stock is going to lower or higher unless you have some inside-knowledge . Just stay away from both of them and you will be fine.

i think both have the same risky but you are not explain in trading, professional trading or just trading like others people which have new comer until middle skill? but if for trading you make for new comer person, then trading is more risky than skill-based gambling.

It depends on own perception to determining this . Indeed , both of them has same risk (choose a wrong move, you lose) . But if we're looking into it trading is less riskier than skill-based gambling .
In trading , if you make a wrong move you can still minimize the lose and fight back to recover your lose while the skill-based gambling is not (your money is gone if you lose). But you can still perform your skill to minimize this risk

As for me trading is more risky than skill-based gambling. The reason is that in skill-based gambling, a player have full control of his decision, it is a matter of who has the best skill in reading the opponents move. It also involve bluffing which is an art of deception to make your opponent think otherwise. In short, skill-based gambling dependent on your skill gives you an edge over your opponent if they are less skillful than you are while in trading, you cannot predict anything, just a chart and details and yet it is not 100% accurate even if you can read them, they are just history and cannot tell what will happen in the future.

In my opinion and experiences, the most risky is trading especially altcoin trading, gambling more easily predictable price movement, but it is very difficult to guess. My bitcoin ever lost more than 40% in a few hours only, but gambling always gives profit for me. So, trading more risk than gambling.

I often see that people prefer skill-based gambling such as poker or sportsbook because they think it's more profitable than trading. But, people say that sports can be manipulated by mafia/casino for their own good.
So, which one is more risky? Skill-based gambling or trading? I think both of them have same risks because both of them could be manipulated, unexpected things could happen and many more.
both are risky but trading is more risky than skill based gambling . if you're trading don't make shipping method there's a lot of scammers out there. it's good when you trade meeting him/her in a mall with a cctv camera and security guard so you don't have to worry about. and about skill based gambling even you're a skill gambler it doesnt mean you will always gain profit from it. its still depends on your luck.

with gambling you can lose everything overnight, with trading your losses will be smaller ones over time, if you lose
so in this sense gambling, even with skill, is riskier than trading
Well maybe if you don't bet everything and just bet small amounts in gambling, you only lose smaller ones over time too. I think trading is riskier than skill-based gambling. You can't do anything about the market of altcoins unless you can perform a pump and dump. Simply buying an altcoin and then waiting for it to increase is just risky since it's almost like you only depend on luck. Skill-based gambling on the other hand will depend on how good are you. You can get profit depending on how better are you than your opponents.

Second the motion, whether it is skill-based gambling or trading it will be just the same when it comes to the risk that we are taking. Because trading is also a skill-based type of investment so that will make it a tie. And the only gambling game which is pure skill-based is sports betting. Even you have good analyzing with the involved teams and matches still that is risky for we are not assured who will win that game.

Your views and perspective on both things are very true which they have both risk on lossing up your money but thsoe two things could possibly be handled on different ways . On trading if you are knowledgeable enough and do have enough experience then you could able to lessen the risk and be profitable with it. Smae on betting on sports you could lessen the risk when you do have experience also into it.

It depends on your style of trading or gambling. Looser and more aggressive gamblers have higher risk but tend to have bigger pay days than average. But it also depends how good they are in playing that style and how disciplined they are during bad runs. The same can also be said about trading. So a good answer would be 'it depends'.

No i guess , it is obvious that gambling has more risk than trading . No matter it is skill based , gambling is always give you 50:50 chance to win and lost the whole money. While in trading you still have guaranteed to get your money back at least for 50% , 40% or so.

For me skill based game is more risky, it is gambling. Although trading is somewhat a gambling too. It is not like a poker where you'll play against the house. Unlike in trading theres no house edge you need to beat. All you need is analyze and predict.

Trading needs a skill and without skill, if you trade just thinking that prices may go up in future then it will be almost same as gambling. All gambling games including skill based games needs luck to make money so I chose these games only for enjoyment and for earning money then I will chose investments like trading and other means.

There are many people who got friends that are in different positions, and can give them info about something before happening. For example, the millionaires and the billionaires worldwide have got such friends and this is how they know the answers many times before we do. Skill might work too, but you need to study what the chances are for something to happen.

And best ways for become smart traders and gamblers is always make investment into gambling with small amount and be ready for lost it and for making investment into trading always use cut lost if the we made wrong position buy bitcoins or altcoins.
