Zec very unstable mining begins and then loses speed 5x280x 110 sols after some time is horrible 20sols

Maybe it is hitting the thermal throttling. Although I think it uses lot less energy than ETH miniing.

it does not use much energy here eth stable mining is mining for eth days without any problem

Best I can do with 290 is @ 1050/1500 and using -k zec zec get 30SOL/S.

I am not sure about 290, but for my R9 390, I can get that hash rate with 1050/900 MHz. The memory speed is not so important.

I think some of you should stop playing too much around and settle for maybe a few less S/s but better stability. Neither Genoil nor the pools are extremely stable at this point.

On my 4x 470s, the -k zec zec would crash the miner. I'm running without that parameter and get about 120-130S/s, but at least it runs stable. The more you try to tweak with this miner and pools, the less you're mining after all Smiley

agree, I finally give up

putting amd driver files in the genoil folder doesn't do the trick for me

so I just make sure it's stable mining @ whatever speed I can get out of these old 7950/7970s

Erase your old kernel BIN and if you are using WIndows 7 use the Windows 7 AMD install package not Windows 10.

It worked on all my rigs.

That is right. For the time being, the miner and the pools are not very stable. So it is better to get some coins now.

for those with lots of disconnects what pool are you miming at ? . try a different pool two are having issue right now or seem to be nicehash and flypool i went to another pool and no down time yet using Genoil's ZEC miner 6 and when i first started using that version i got major errors and disconnects til i changed pools . my speeds even got better .it's not the software miner now there may be bugs but the major disconnect problems seem to be fixed.

on my new pool im doing 200 sols on fly pool the best i did was 171 .

Great  i wasn't and haven't been for a while i would rather use flypool but im gonna hold off and use what works for me .  just saying that might be why for some try a different pool, don't blame the miner any more , i mean you can but more then lily it's not the software miner any more, it was but not now .

this is three cards on coinmine.pl/zec/ there im able to turn on CPU cores and it doesn't drag down my GPU's .

AVG: 92.98/92.98 H/s i was getting on those three cards if i was lucky on flypool 67 to 70 and it wasn't all ways stable like now .

My rigs are pointed at nanopool, no problems so far with version 0.6

My PC's GPU and CPU are pointed at suprnova, also no problems whatsoever

Three reference 290s with Stilt bios (one Elpida, two Hynix), one Elpida 290 Windforce flashed to a 390, one Gigabyte 7970, one Gigabyte 7950, one Asus 270X TOP. 16.1.1 using 16.10.3 dlls, Win 10.

The machine is still not hashing at full speed - I'm suspecting a bottleneck at the CPU, the slowest Celeron I could get for it. Board is a Z87-G45 Gaming.

This software is running stable with my Sapphire RX480 Nitro+ 4GB on stock BIOS with approx. 25-27sol/s.

Unfortunately I have several Rigs with those GPUS having a modded BIOS running at a hosting service. Although I can access the miner I am not able to reflash the GPUs via Teamviewer properly. Is there any chance to set them to "stock BIOS values" by settings?
With the mod. BIOS the mining software crashes very fast.

0.6 suffers from the very same stability issues. works nicely when I start it, come back after an hour an all cards are showing 0.0Sol/s.

The same is true here.
