Two parts:
1.  Disabling Windows' Error Reporting UI so that when the genoil miner crashes it doesn't popup a close window.

Code:
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Windows Error Reporting]
"DontShowUI"=dword:00000001

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

Nice boost in speeds from claymore miner ill be switching back to ETH shortly as zcash expected to drop to 0.1BTC a coin after full bock rewards. It will no doubt drop below this if theirs no adoption of it or use was a nice ride and a good few days extra earnings and no doubt some made their millions with their miners and farms. Only time will see how this goes but all seen is vast dumping and selling out already past lowest price and still tanking down and I doubt its gonna stop anytime soon.

I don't see how the home miner can compete these days, I was on supernova.. there are farms in there 50,000 H/s and one in the 800,000 H/s...home guys are maybe in the 100-500 range...plus factor in the electrical and c component cost you would never make your money back....am I missing something?

As a literal "home miner" for now, I'll just point out that some of US also pay very low electric costs - and have a lot less overhead than the "big farms" so, though not so much on a "per hash" basis.
Up side, my "labor cost" is free, for some ways of accounting....

I'm no longer legendary just in my own mind!

Speak for your self  ( Just KIDDING)  i didn't switch hoping and waiting for another version update , only reason i don't use it because it is to buggie but not angry, I'm only using Claymore because i like windows more then Linux once Silent army V5 comes out I'll use it or this one if there is a stable update or both not Claymore . that's my issue.

Funny thing, I don't see much difference in revenue on eth vs zec, especially on Rx 470.
zec decreased in price a lot, while eth difficulty almost halved.
i guess, zec is better than eth on old GPUs like 280x and r7 370.

BTW, silentarmy v3 can be installed on Ubuntu 14.04 and 15.10 with a small adjustment.

ZEC uses far less power than ETH from what I see so I will stay ZEC for a while, with ZEC i can run more rigs that i had to turn off before

Hey, would anyone here happen to know why the silent  army version of this miner always crashes on my RX 480? The normal version works just fine, but a little slower. I'm using the default settings if that helps. I appreciate any help I can get. Smiley

ETH miners are already fully optimized, ZEC miners are at the early development stage.

I'd agree they are optimized for performance (you might squeeze another 1-2% out of them).  But they are not optimized for power.  I believe a 20-25% reduction in power consumption is possible.

bugs does for every one till either a more stable update is released or SA v5 for windows, comes out then we may not need this updated but it would be cool to see but do understand if not,

Claymore is 10% slower than Genoil for me.

You need to tell us the GPU model. For most models, the Claymore miner is faster than that of Genoil.

I'll add my voice to those that appreciate your efforts and hope you continue to develop, at your own pace of course. People tend to forget that even though the open source competition might be somewhat slower than the paid miners, without that competition the fees would be outlandish. Think 2.5% is bad try 25-50% if it were the only game in town.

Anyway, here's o hoping you continue on.  Cool

On my various 1070s, ZEC seems to be using 15-20% less power than ETH.
I didn't notice what the figures were on the 950s and 960s.

when time comes, genoil will become better and compete with claymore and others...charge some fees too when your miners are starting to kick ass.

Gene and now, in some circumstances better than others, despite some of its weaknesses.
I look forward to a more stable 0.7

The Claymore 2.0 uses a lot of CPU power. It also uses a more power than the Claymore 1.1 version.

The latest Claymore 2.1 uses even more CPU power if you set the intensity level to 1 or 2. With 0, it is about 20%.
