I think the problem with having only one currency is the fact that not all resources or product are created on the same country with the same supplies and needs for things to develop. It will be out of order for us to only use one currency. Even starting is difficult because the economy that we have and the world has would be affected by this change.

Well, I think this is a fantastic idea. Come to think of it, it has also come to my attention the question of why we use different currencies when we are all living in just one world. We all should have just one currency since everything that we buy comes from the same world. Also, the fact that every time we want to go to a different country we always have to exchange our own money is a bit hassle.

Good question.For 27 years this is the first I have heard this question and it really made me think on what will happen if all countries use the same currency. I think it will make the whole world more united and it will be a less hassle to travel overseas. Also, it will make people stay in their country.Currency conversion is the reason why some other people work abroad.Because of high conversion rate, they can earn twice as they earn abroad. One thing about using the same currency is that we don't have to worry about conversion rate when we go abroad. Shopping on eBay or other shopping sites will be cheaper because of the same currency. It will be a major adjustment if this happens and no one can say if the things mentioned will happen.Fingers crossed.

I hope this will happened soon but I think this is impossible. Having one monetary unit will end poverty, in the sense that people or countries per se who labeled as one of the third world country will be equal to those countries who were currently being richer nowadays.

Countries lose the right of deciding their own monetary policy when they go for single currency and have to follow the monetary policy as decided by the One central Bank issuing the currency. The most obvious downfall to the introduction of a global currency would be the loss of independent monetary policy to regulate national economies. the voice of the people will raise if these happens

I am seriously in favor of using only one currency throughout the world because in the way we would not be involved in problem of changing one currency into another when travelling. I am very much fond of travelling and always face such troubles of exchanging currencies.

In my opinion, the transition to a single world currency without political unification in modern conditions will lead to a deep structural crisis. Economic growth in this case becomes a hostage to the desire to maintain a single currency zone. It is always necessary to take into account that the economic situation in countries is different and in different phases requires different monetary measures. It is impossible to happen because each country has its own law, currency and economy. The president in each state will not allow this kind of policy. If it will be force to happen there's a possibility of a war, unstable economy and poverty. But, if bitcoin will be used as one currency worlwide  , maybe lots of countries will legalize bitcoin and it will be used in all transactions.
