Idea's needed for skill based gambling site.

I am planning to create a skill-based bitcoin gambling game, my first idea's were Poker and Open Face Chinese.
But i like to hear which skill-based games you like to be implemented.

how about chess? maybe not a gambling game, but could be lucrative. do you want the users to play each other or against a computer? do you want to stick to one game or offer more? i would suggest to start with a simple one and then see how you go from there.

Skill-based games need to be cheat proof.  How do you prevent cheating?  In chess people can use computers to calculate moves.  In Poker it is also cheatable in that you can run a poker bot.

Sports betting is the better skill based gamble and do not have believe on any other type of gambling that they will be skill based. If you can try to add sport betting on your casino more people will be interested in your casino site.

Nope i agree with this, players want a fast game like dice and card games and surely chess game gambling selection is so boring since it will takes time to finish a single game, and surely also i believe no one likes that on betting games since not all people knows how to play it, thats why its better to try card pokers since it is more appealing and proven that enjoyable by many gambler, you could try also to build slme cs:go type of gambling site since it was a new thrend on gambling industry.

oh i have not thought about that. but i guess that only leaves those games that are mostly based on luck. most chess sites operate with an elo rating system, so after a few games you could see how likely it is to win and bet accordingly.

How about a shooting game? Player vs Player with anti cheat of course to be implemented. Or you might want to try an O2jam or Audition like game.

But how can we know that we are battling against a player itself and not on the bot? It's hard to do bluffs in Poker game if an opponent bot can read my moves or in some other way bots designed to read those bluffs lol.

Maybe you should try dice game in bitsler. What you just need is to bet the roll, do not lose your control, and do not bet all amount you have.

Well i don't know about that game and i can't actually point out if that game is fun to play with since many player mostly plays on some environment they use to know, thats why i think its better to create some simplr known games and just create some unique featur where you can define your different to other who's existing first than OP, and he shoukd invest in some features where he can defeat or disallow those bots so he can make sure that his site will be fair.

Hi there, I have an idea for a "skilled gambling" game I would like to develop since months, but couldn't find anybody to help me with it.
I can do all the creative part of it on Unity.
I have several years experience in 3D modeling, game design, and also programming.
I would cooperate with a person that would take care of the Bitcoin integration and client/server part for the user database.

I am no expert, but I think cheating can be prevented to some extent.
If you make a downloadable app, you can prevent automated functions by only allowing mouse input in example. You can mix up the location of cards also, so no bot could find them.
Same if you do a web based application I think.
The real problem comes if a hacker works into the code and is so good to send fake data to the server. I think that's the worse option an online game must take into account. Needs REAL IT security expert for this.

Skill based games are very hard to get balanced and even harder to make cheat-proof. You're better off finding another use of your time.

Skill based games are really proof way of gambling but of course there isn't still any chanse that player will play honestly. I mean, if you add chess, there are programs that can beat any human opponentand that's the main problem here, maybe they wouldn't be able to use this through website but they will make similar combinations on another computer. This is all I wanted to say about that, now My list of games is following:
1. Chess
2. Checkers
3. Billiard

the most important when created based skill game is it need to be free from cheat, chess is not a good idea because it takes too long and the player can use bot to play, i suggest something a bit more random, if you want a small scale game you can implemented big 2 card games or mahjong, if you want to create a big scale game you can create something like clash royale or maybe card games like yu gi oh

You clearly haven't been on the internet have you. Before laptops and super duper computers were made, humans has already created chess bots that can even been grand master level players. Based from that info, the computing power of computers are more than a million times better than that time. I had an app on my iphone that I used to beat people on a online public chess game. Hence, a gambling game based on these kinds of games would really burn the house and bankrupt investors for sure. It's not a good idea in my opinion. This would mean, it would no longer be a game of chance. Thus, not gambling.

Yes, there are chess bots but there is no big difference between chess bots and unfair dice websites, isn't it? This doesn't matter where to lost. Also billiard is good alternative but there are ways to make software to win game with one shot like it was once on gamezer. Also I think that best alternative is pes, fifa and similar games on money with monitoring of not using chess.

Every player in gambling game have his odds set against him. So you cant make a gambling game that requires skill setting his odds on the possitive site. You can set the players odds for winning anything from very bad without skill to a normal gambling game odds at players high skills. Im afraid the task is very hard to achieve without discouraging any possible players. The only way not to discourage players when your game is giving them free money to master the rules.
