It can, you are wrong if saying ZEC can't recover his price into the 0.2 again. The problem just on the supply. This time we are at the early mine and still have a long time later for zec will be touching over a million supply and seems like the bitcoin. The price will below ether and xmr , it will be true soon. I really believe with it. I will put some at the price was being below that ether and xmr.

That is a more realistic prediction in my opinion. ZEC is at 0.0585 now and still dropping, 16% drop in one day. I think nothing can save the coin, even bots buying very small fractions of the coin at 0.066. Nobody will fall for that, people are smart nowadays.

I do not think the ZCash price will go that low.

Each time it drops, even when there are pumps, it keeps going lower every time. It's already at an all time low at 43$. At 35$, I'll stop mining it, if not before, and so will other "normal" people (by that I mean home miners who have like 2-3 rigs tops). Maybe if people stop mining it, the number of newly generated coins will drop, creating a void in supply and price will rise again, but I don't think that'll happen.

I don't think it works like that. As far as I know the less people are mining the lower the difficulty becomes so basically the number of newly generated coins is not dropping when fewer people are mining. If I'm missing something here it would be great if someone would explain it better to me.

Yes, but have you calculated how profitable the mining would be taking into account the price of ZEC now? Another important thing is that ZEC might drop even more in the future and what would you do then with all of your mined coins? I think low difficalty is not the reason to start mining a coin, it is the potencial of the coin what is more important.

It will be so. But this does not mean that now you buy and then price change, it could happen just because of high inflation.

Is there a way with ZEC to move it to cold storage and know the private key and also be able to check the balance somehow on the "blockchain"?   

Sorry if this is a dumb question that doesn't make sense, but I have some ZEC on an exchange and just trying to figure out the best way to move it off of there and secure it.  I want to be able to extract the private key for sure though, without anyone else having access to it.

Short pump, There is no reason for that, Sometimes it's happening about some whale was pumping it for a little. But it will drop again below the past price before the little pumping happen. It's not mean anything for me. The common thing on the trade.

Yes, but the higher the hashrate you want to have the higher price you should pay for the miners. Idk, I still think that to mine Bitcoins is more profitable because:

Anytime bitcoin mine still profitable. even compare with ZEC. Let say if bitcoin can guarantee his price. and everytime the  supply will be decreasing and it will make the price will increase. economy 101.
