I don't think it is very hard to buy bitcoin in our country lot of exchangers offers good prices so you can try it in exchanges you can select as per your convenient.

Other thing is the rate is very buy so most of the time you find difficulties in buying bitcoin. Except this I don't have any technical ideas over buying bitcoin.

Its maybe hard because people don't want to sell their bitcoins now. You can also buy bitcoins on blockchain but there are a lot of fees there. If you buy on other sites.

There maybe could be scammers trying to scam you.

You can buy bitcoins not directly on people because there is already a lot of online wallets like coinbase that enable people to buy bitcoin without having a hard time. Just create an account there and put some information on the way of your purchasing bitcoin and after that then you can just buy bitcoin easily and also sell too. Online wallets are so convenient and you must try it and not to buy directly to people.

I have not really bought any bitcoin in a while, i have been mostly trading this last year.  but i have been trying to buy today from localbitcoins and bittylicious and it has been a real challenge.  they want photos of me holding cards on localbitcoins and on bitty they need about 4 different forms of id, what is going on. 

this is seriously restrictive to anyone wanting to get into bitcoin,  like its meant to be pseudonymous but if the gate ways into bitcoin dont allow that people will be put off.   

I don't think that it is too hard to buy bitcoin. It just so happen to be really expensive. I can't blame the usual sellers if they don't sell their bitcoin right away. If we were in their position, we too will hold our bitcoin until the value rises up again.

Considering the current price of bitcoin nowadays, it's really hard to buy it because many are holding and saving it for future financial gains. It's very obvious that in the coming days it will increase higher so people are trying their best to save more bitcoins. If you are going  to buy maybe you can but at a higher price which is not practical to do if you want good profit.

The procedure is the same procedure in my country in which if we will sign up for account our local exchanges we do the same procedures that you mention but this is good for me because i think this is for security reasons that the users are not a questionable person that might engage in illegal activities in which it might be use bitcoin in crimes and other bad elements.

When I first bought my Bitcoin was also very difficult and incomprehensible. And scary. But after I did it once, I realized that everything can be done without problems. You just need to find a convenient exchanger.

Its not that hard to buy a bitcoin especially here in Philippines. We have  blackchain that provides wallets both for PHP and BITCOIN currency. I we have to have a Bitcoin we will just convert our PHP money to Bitcoin inside the application and we will have Bitcoin in just one snap. Same in Converting Bitcoin in our fiat. You said its too hard on you since this post was 1 year ago. People already improve the communication and distribution about Bitcoin. So its lot more easier this time.

At the beginning it was hard to buy with fiat money, but now its just long process at the initiation as the local exchanges does comply KYC and it takes few days and correct documents. After its approved nobody faces hard times.

Because everyday as we advance further into this industry things become more strict and exchanges want to know their customers to make sure they arent laundering any dirty money. This is fair practice in any industry and

it was only a matter of time before this practice swept under the crypto industry. Knowing their isnt much dirty money around makes me feel overall securer making investments.

It wa relatively hard to buy bitcoin 3 years ago but today, in 2017, it is way more simple.
There are so many well know places, with a good reputation where you can buy BTC.

In my opinion, buying of bitcoin is really hard and in fact very much difficult if you are not having this much of resources that you actually can afford buying of bitcoin. It is because of the reason that the market price of bitcoin is very much high and at the very present moment, it is at its peak value. Yes I agree. It is not alward to buy bitcoin. If you are a trader of bitcoin who are in the buy and sell you should provably expert on buying bitcoin. And I think the most difficult time to buy bitcoin is when the price of bitcoin is so high. Because you need a big capital in order to trade. Aside from that, it is also difficult to buy if there is a huge demand of bitcoin in the market.

Personally i don't agree with too much security measures, especially when it comes to personal documents, but i suppose that the exchange had some bad experience and those measure are taken to prevent any pleasures, so even if it is tricky, i suppose they are necessary.
