As mentioned in his signature,he has invested heavily in LEOcoin or i doubt he is the developer behind the coin and if you check the price it had a price increase and i am sure he has dumped all of his coins and earned a substantial profit

there is not and never will be an alt with bitcoin like growth potential. by saying that i mean coming up from nothing and staying up there.

there are certainly alts which will make as much if not more than bitcoin but it'll be short lived. buying an alt to forget about it is a crazy move. if you ride a pump and escape then you'll be on to a winner.

The term "alt" is losing its importance. ETH and XMR are not just an alternative to BTC, they are further developed versions of blockchain technology.
So yes you can invest and forget if you invest in a blockchain technology which has an active development and community.

Not to forget, that around 98-99% of the projects are useless BTC-clones with no additional value aka garbage.

I haven't looked much into crypto lately but I'd say Synero (AMP) could be a good investment. Though I wouldn't expect 100x ROI in a matter of months. Take this advise with a grain of salt btw, as the best course of action is to examine an altcoin by yourself and decide wether it is worth an investment or not. Another (faster) method is to participate in a pump&dump, but this is very risky and you'll probably end up deep in the red.

X100 means if you invest $1000 now you will have $100,000. That would be a great call but projects with X10 growth can easily be found if you do your research very well.

Hello Guys,

I know its pure speculation but what do you guys think, which altcoins with growth potential like

1000x, 500x, 100x and what time frame?

I am planning to invest and forget, gonna invest money which I use for unproductive purposes like smoking, movies, binge shopping. Not much investment just pocket money. So I really dont mind if the money is lost also.

The closest altcoin that I can think of that might follow bitcoin's growth potential in value per coin is Monero. XMR now is slowly beginning to be accepted in the darknet marketplaces as a second choice if you do not want to use bitcoin. An economy behind a coin is the most important factor where it derives its value from. If the development team could figure out a way to scale XMR then you have a potential silver to bitcoin's gold. They say it is LTC but no, it never showed any signs that it was good enough.

I know some few coin that has a potential to make price pump in 1-4 years period. First of all, i want to gave you a few guide on determining it, First the coin must be fresh or have been an ICO lately, Then go for the project that have dividends and have good team devs. The best example of this coin is ICN, The devs are not in rush on developing it and they plan is for long term benefits of the coin holder. I know that this coin will be pump once the dividend is first distribute next year. SO it's up to you now if you want to bag some cheap ICN or regret next year for not buying some of it.

If the time now is like in the January 2016, then it is good to get some Ethereum. But things might have changed.

I think this time is suitable to buy ICN and Lisk, Lisk price has dropped recently and sure it will pump next year, as well as ICN which is increasing, some people say that ICN will follow the same road of Ethereum price.

None. I won't let you dream of something that will never happen, that would be nasty toward you. Bitcoin is unique and likely to be never replaced, whatever some people will say you. Your best bet for a big profit is to buy Bitcoin using fiat money and then hold it for a few years.

It seems the block size will not be increased soon as many people do not agree with the block size increase, so it might not be so useful in the future.

I totally agree if you look at the marketcap some coins are growing in terms of price chart and community adoption,I still believe Bitcoin is still the best crypto currency in the market but we have a technology that keeps changing I'm looking at Burst,they seems to have a big potential in the market.

I totally agree if you look at the marketcap some coins are growing in terms of price chart and community adoption,I still believe Bitcoin is still the best crypto currency in the market but we have a technology that keeps changing I'm looking at Burst,they seems to have a big potential in the market.

No one could really exceed on bitcoins place now and you are right there are altcoins which do have new technology and feature and might surpassed bitcoin on longer runs but still depends because  bitcoin is too far away from them and just looking only at the marketcap.I do have high hopes for XMR in my own opinion but actually there are lots of potential altcoins.
