What minor exchange would you suggest to try out? And why?
We need to acquire some BTC funds and we can sell some altcoins collected in last weeks.

In my opinion it's risky to trade on small exchange, just look what happen to altex.ws many coin holders lose there coins when the dev shutdown the site, because of the absence of volume,it's much more better to trade on a more stable exchange like Yobit, ccex and novaexchange among others..

If you want to exchange your alts into btc then you can use any of the following, Bittrex, C-Cex, Yobit, Poloniex, all of which are pretty decent, Bittrex and Poloniex are the better ones in my experience.

Not all your alt coins will be on all the exchanges so you may need to use a few, there will be other smaller ones out there but these are the ones which I am aware of and are pretty good.

What specific coin you are going to sold? In this we can sort out those altcoin exchanges that supported your altcoins.

As we all know, not all alts are available at different altcoin exchanges so at least if the people here will know the specific altcoin of yours we can sort things out. But just want to say that trust is a big word and can't be applied even at a reputable big exchanges today.

I would stay clear of any altcoin that is not being traded in colonies, bitters or kraken.

It is simply not worth the risk using other exchanges and for most altcoins you don't want to risk running the wallet. There have been many cases where updates included malware..

Why we should  use  minor exchanges  since there  are more reputable  ones and  i do  really agree on those people who said that  most of   these  minor  exchanges do shut down  because  of  low  volume and  yes  this  trully   happens and devs  would  surely ran away. Betternot to bother yourself  on  finding or  tending to  put  money or do trades on these  minor exchanges  because  the risk of  lossing  money is  high  compared  on putting  it into  most reputable ones.

If cryptopia can consider as minor exchange i can say that its one of the good place to exchange some alts im working with this site for almost a year now and i dont get any problem sometimes i get some lucky day buying some coin that has been pumped in some major exchange and earn good profits no problem with any delayed in regarding with transaction.

Sometimes you can get coins that later on pump on bigger exchanges by buying on those smaller exchanges that list them before the big players like poloniex do. Of course you risk lossing all of your money, either by lossing them in an exchange hack, or by losing them because you are buying an altcoin that never gets a pump.

why would you want to use an un-famous exchange for your trades?
there is always a reason why some of them can not get users to trade in their platform, it is sometimes because of the bad services they offer like yobit or sometimes because they are new and offer nothing different than others!
and in any case there is no liquidity, there is lower prices for selling and higher prices for buying an altcoin and the orderbooks are always much thinner!

I really dont  know   why people would tend  to  use  unfamous exchanges  hence they could able to  use the  most  reputable  sites  out there. Maybe  they  would  like to try some  non crowded  exchangers  but  on this  case , the risk  of  lossing  your  money   is  high compared  on  putting  it  on a  reputable  one.   I dont  know  any  unfamous exchangers though.

It is better to trade an altcoin which is reputable one.
Like C-cex,bittrex, & poloniex these sites are legit
and trusted. Never use trading site thats is not popular,
were you might lose your btc.
