I don't see that's happening, bank has their own currency and bitcoin is not gold and anytime if it losses the trust of the people it will disappear.
Since it has no physical presence in the market and very limited only to online transactions, fiat will never be replace in its current standing now, it is produce by banks and has it's digital and paper money which is convenient to use for all people.

Without getting into the technical nitty grittis, all I can say that bitcoin has given enormous amount of return over the past few years and no other conventional investment was capable to give that much return.

So for a layman like me, the return and the bitcoin price matters. So if anyone is thinking of long term investment using bitcoin, there is no particular good time to buy it. You can buy and hold bitcoin any time you want. Because, bitcoin has the potential to go long way. The current price is just the tip of the iceberg.

Very well said, the risk is nothing if we believe in the future of bitcoin, short term investment is good but long term is better. What makes it fluctuates is due to the supply and demand but the adoption is the big factor here, it will continue up to a certain level that the demand will substantially increase. Of course, we do not want that when we reach to that level of success we do not have something to cash out.

well with your second statement it is the best way to accumulate more btc in the near future buying alts with good project and big potentials to increase the value will give you good earnings in return its just needed deep study and more reference so you will be avoided to be catches  by the scammer devs.

a big names statement is really important and have big influence.
when buffet throw that words to public , everyone will take it seriously and follow him.

So the "bank story" that's on your mind is some sort of bank that's focused on making bitcoins centralized because they have to buy bitcoins? That's the only way to make bitcoins centralized, buy all of it and you can make it centralize. It would be just a digital money just like Paypal, Payza, etc. Bitcoin would be destroyed at that time.

I don't think someone would do that. Buying all the bitcoins? That's a big NO for investors because it would be hard to buy all of it and the more bitcoins you buy, the more expensive it gets.

For what it's worth, if this really happens, the price wouldn't just be $2000. It would be much much more than that. Not totally something to look forward to, but do what you want.

What is necessary as an investor is to have a short term and long term investment, your long term investment should take care for your future and we are doing it because of the belief that overtime the value of bitcoin will increase.
