EDU Cheaper cause it carry risk which mentioned on trade terms . NON EDU are premium credits usually and rarely available thus premium price . But now EDU also getting rare and Price increased a bit for Low stocks .

Edu credits are often limited to certain services, not covering all of them like regular credits. That's why it's cheaper. Also you need to be part of the AWS education program with a special account type.

No you are wrong , you do not need to be part of AWS Educate to use the edu credits , any aws account verified with CC and Phone can use the EDU or NON EDU Credits , Difference is EDU carry certain risk and Non EDU don't if used alone .
