EDIT: I've donated 1000 coins to ThePiachu's faucet

I didn't realize that selling testnet coins is a terrible idea and being a developer I understand that testnet coins should stay worthless. Again, I'm sorry guys I simply didn't realize. I hope I've redeemed myself by donating 1000 of my own coins and I promise i'm a really nice person in general.

Thank you for draining the TestNet Faucet and trying to monetise on the free TestNet coins we are providing to be used by anyone.

http://tpfaucet.appspot.com/

If you are feeling guilty about what you did, please return the coins back to

mrhz5ZgSF3C1BSdyCKt3gEdhKoRL5BNfJV

They are worthless and nobody should be paying for them.

624 coins have been returned and these coins are not worthless to developers who need the coins for testing

I only borrowed around 600 coins and all of them will be returned but the rest was mined by myself and therefore is my property.

If you claim so. I can run some script later to check how many coins you have taken out of the Faucet. There appears to be a few pages of them...

But developers shouldn't have to PAY in order to contribute their time/energy to development. What is wrong with you?

They are worthless, but useful. They are useful because they are worthless. If you will add value to them, they will be useless, therefore worthless.

I'm sorry for being a douche.I've decided to donate all of my coins to your faucet and I'm sorry for any inconvenience caused. I would prefer to be in everyone's good books so as stated above I will be donating a minimum of 900 coins.

Exactly.

DO NOT SELL TESTNET COINS. You'll just piss off the core developers, because we'll have to waste time re-launching a new testnet to reset the chain and make the coins worthless again.

There a Fight Club "First Rule..." joke in there somewhere....

How often do you get the chance to work on a potentially world-changing project?

Wow OP is the king of the douche bag kingdom.

Testnet should be easy to get so developers can test things quickly. When I get testnet I have to wait for the blocks to confirm, so I go into #bitcoin-dev and ask to swap with someone else, with me paying after the block matures.

Don't be a dick...

Where can I buy some of these "testnet" coins I am hearing about all over the web? Is it worth it? Will I be scammed? Is it all a bubble? What are they really worth? How much will they be worth by next Thursday do you think? I want to get in early!

Are we still talking about bitcoins? I think that can be applied to fiat currency. lol

I have always said that fiat was worthless until someone works for it. ah never mind.

I'm sure someone will get it out there in the internets Roll Eyes I forgive him
