I can not get my ether out of Ethereum-Wallet.net and they do not, to date, respond to support emails. Does anyone know if this website is a scam? They hold the private key, not good. I also see there is a poster called AstralWonder on this forum who spams links to them in most of his posts. An internet search shows a lot of forum and comment spam and the odd sponsored post pointing to Ethereum-Wallet.net - and not much else at all. The site is not on https and whois is hidden behind a panama address. I am concerned they are simply a scam?

Probably.
In a 1 minute quick search I found some results where brand new accounts were trying to recommend that site to others on various sites and all of them were from 4 months ago.
I'm only ever fine with a party having access to my private keys in case of major exchanges. Online wallets are a terrible idea.

Try to avoid online wallets at all costs. You never know what they are going to do. They can run at any point.
It is best to use a local wallet and if that really isn't possible, you can consider an exchange that has been around for ages. Note that I don't recommend an exchange for storage, but if local is not possible I would prefer it over a random online service.

Use Jaxx.io instead. You can link your wallet to your mobile and home computer.

Email them and link to this thread. If they care for anything they'll come here and defend their website.

Thanks, that's a good idea. I have threatened to report the guy for fraud. ETH not returned. This is his twitter account: https://twitter.com/EthereumWalletsThe gmail email on it does work as I got one response about ETC I sent to one address on the wallet. But not returned and the request to have ETH, which is a lot, withdrawn has been met with total silence. It seems the withdrawal procedure does not actually work, deliberately. Just triggers a page saying 'wait for transaction to process' and it never does. This is a homemade website and I got suckered in by his promotional video, so stupid. He is playing a very dangerous game. Pretending to be a wallet. A wallet would have automated withdrawal procedure. He is taking money by deception and this sort of scam potentially carries serious jail time. I have a couple of screenshots from the promotional videos he has had made, one of them may even be him. At worst both the guy in one and the girl in the other will know him because this is a one-man band operation, no doubt. I will report him to USA and Canadian authorities for fraud. I suspect, although he is pretending to be Seattle that he may be Canadian from one of his early twitter posts.

How did you get any info from this guy?
He stole 88 Ethereum from me too last month. Here is his reply: "Sorry to hear that. I'm looking at your account address and the receiving address looks like it has a lot of transactions in it. We currently don't log any users' IP information so we can't help you with the logs unfortunately.
We're working on adding an additional 2FA security layer to the site due to ETH's popularity spike recently, hopefully that will prevent future issues."
I found his linked in Page, he has an address in the US.

They are not stuck they are stolen. I know you private messaged me, but I am afraid I don't have all his info anymore. This is the best I can do: His first name was David, he is Canadian possibly I think. I did a search on his website's name and studied the whois etc for all the backlinks to his website to find his name. Most are blocked but the process chucked up his name. All the backlinks are from his own websites. If I recall it was a short asian surname. His personal twitter account is: https://twitter.com/sixdegreesofseaI harrassed him by email, which i think may be on his website anyway, ( ethereum.contact@gmail.com) and also on twitter. However he has now blocked me on twitter and more importantly he has made his personal twitter account private. He'll probably delete it altogether after he reads this. The guy is an outright thief who should be in a prison cell. The police should identify the guy in the youtube video that is promoting his website, no doubt someone paid by "David" to read a script for that video. As that video has a person's face, maybe show it to the US and / or Canadian police. Sorry, I cant help further than that - I have spilled all my info. If the surname crops up somewhere I will post that too, but I think I lost it as it was on his personal twitter account, not any more.

Got my ether back .. "The issue should be as soon as we need to restart the node." No matter got my ether back. After the support message I could run a transaction without problems. If it was to the fact that I wrote him on linkedin too, I don't know. He is a student and it seems he is overwhelmed with this website . Now I can't say whether it is scam or just technically badly done ...

I am having my RLC tokens in an address whose private key is being managed by them, don't know whether I did good or not. Should I now consider myself scammed or are they going to send me my tokens? Has anybody used them to get their RLC tokens in their ethereum-wallet.net wallet? I was stupid enough to trust them for this, now really don't know what should I do.

Dammit, wish I'd done my adequate research and seen this thread earlier. Just transferred a pretty serious chunk of Eth to "my" wallet and it appears to not be processing. Have a very bad feeling about this. How could you guys recommend I proceed on trying to get my ethereum back off this guy? Is my blockchain history of any use?
