Looking for Advice on 16 to 20" INDUSTRIAL window fan in CANADA

I'm currently venting with two 20" plastic crapbox, you know the box fans you get for 15-20$ at... well everywhere. I'm looking for an upgrade, because these fans vibrate like crazy but move very little air, most likely due to their horrible static pressure. (Wind blowing against basically stop these)

I mine in an appartment currently so i have to minimize low shaking vibration to not annoy the neighbors.

The only thing i can find is the Lasko b20725 20" box. I would have to import it from the US. Takes time and money. Worth it?

-So is there an alternative i missed that i could get better/quicker from Canada?

-In the case not, if i am to import and pay a hefty premium anyways, is there something better i can get? (Good airflow and pressure, setting with lowest noise/shaking as possible)

Also I use the same crappy $25 fans as you and they never vibrate. You can take them apart and lubricate the bearing and see if it fixes any issues.

I added a filter on intake to prevent the snow from coming in and one without for exhaust (but i want to put one on both to sorta hide the Boxfan during the winter).

I have to run them on max for the farm not to overheat. They hum like a old fridge and they barely pull any air through the filter. One is only 1 month~ old as the one before just died.

The farm get at >80C with near maxed gpu fan speed with -10C outdoor temp.

They may however be off season, so something you would need to search for.

What is your indoor temp ?

36C at -3C Outdoor, with both fans at speed 3, one out of two filtered. GPU fans at 75 to 100% and temps are 80C~

Ah yes, i got one of those bionaire. They basically don't do anything, it has about 1/10th the CFM of a box fan or 1/25th of a metal one and near negligible pressure, But while they are useless at extracting heat, they are useful for blowing air in between GPUs.

If its -10C outside you really shouldn't need any fans, the high pressure/low pressure should force the cold air inside your room. Maybe open the door to your room so there is cross ventilation.

I use one of these but not  sure if you can get it in Canada but it works great on top of my Script miner with a open case with two stock fans it is a lot quieter to run .

If you have vibrations, put some foam under the fan.  cheap and easy to find, the foam "carpets" for kids.  Maybe you have too many gpu's for the size of the room/air...36c is too hot to live in !  idk homedepot has this https://www.homedepot.ca/en/home/p.20-inch-high-velocity-air-circulator---greyblack.1000770300.html

You are all (mostly) linking me plastic toys fan, not understanding i need to vent close to 60000BTU so i will re-iterate, since i guess i wasnt clear enough;

I already have two big 20inch fan in parallel in exhaust configuration, i need website sites where i can buy something better or similar heavy duty fans that i might have missed that i can get, at least as good as  the one i linked in OP. I can find them all over ebay, but for some reason, i can't seem to find retail for them.

That won't do. I already have two 20inch box fan in parallel and its not enough, ergo the need for upgrade to metal window fans.

Yeah i can't use these, its not even good CFM I thought of using 12 inches one in parallel but its not cost effective. Beside i have a 17*50 window opening, no reason to use something that compact

Had no idea you had close to 20,000 Watts of gear in a small apartment, free power FTW.

But honestly with that much heat, no idea if any of those fans will work unless its a huge blower fan but those are crazy loud. When temps get down to -30C you shouldn't have an issue then.

Its a big appartment And i'll get even bigger next year.

And I dont have that much yet but close, 15kW~ atm at full power, but i'm planning ahead. Up to 80 AMPs 250v, but that would mean no Oven like 1 year ago
Who need a cloth washer/dryer when you can have a farm, right?

Summer was easy, Both 20" on exhaust and living room window open, patio door open etc. So outdoor temp = indoor temp more or less. It worked very well.

But i can't do that during winter, that would mean sub zero in my living room...

I mined with ~5kw of gear in an apartment before.  After going through a bunch of fans I eventually got this one.  It is a beast; by simply running it on high with a second window open elsewhere ( otherwise you get mixed pressures ) it would lower the temperature in the apartment by 30 degrees in under a minute.  Can run as intake or exhaust without moving the fan.  One of these should do the trick; 2 of them for sure.

Your big concern with the setup, I think is that you want to have an in and out fan beside each other,
Your best bet will be to pipe in the outside air to the back side of the room.
You could likely run 2 5" dryer liners in over and down the back wall, and get away with a large exhaust fan.

As for the CFM you are after, you will never get a silent version. That's going to be hella noisy lol

If you are running the fans in the same window, use part of a large cardboard appliance (refrigerator) box to separate the two airflows bot into and out of the room. Direct the cooling airflow towards your GPUs and away from the exhaust fan's intake side. You will also want to make the exhaust fan move more air than the intake air fan. This will create a low pressure inside the room making the outside air "want" to come into the room.

See if you can find some vortex style fans, e.g.:

You can also try to find smaller diameter drum fans:

For these last two suggestions you will need to fabricate some kind of adapter (cardboard and duct tape work well), but it open up more possibilities.

I used a 24" drum fan in my basement garage this past summer when the room (35' x 55') flooded. It moved a lot of air and dried things out quickly, but the downside, on high speed it made a significant amount of noise. We didn't mind because we could close the door to the basement. Your neighbors probably wouldn't be too happy with you, though.

Yes good idea, A replacement furnace fan etc. will take a bit more to rig up, but move a lot of air and do not make much noise.
