If your Machinecoin masternode is disconnecting, There is a fix in the works. You can test it by going into the machinecoin-core directory on your vps, and issue the commands:

git checkout 0.16
git pull
./autogen
./configure --disable-tests --disable-bench
make

Good news is we now have masternodes and quite a few other projects in the pipeline.

Is the ANN thread going to be updated with the new timeline and roadmap?

The current roadmap we have is still in play. We are currently working on resolving a bug in the masternode code, but hopefully that will be fixed soon and not affect the timeline... or if it does, not by much.

But, yeah, we do have some updates for the ANN coming.

The bug should not be affecting your ability to run the masternode... The only thing the bug is doing is causing the masternode to disconnect roughly around 24 hours of operation. We have created some scripts to restart the masternode automagically in the meantime.

Quick update- As of right now, my MN has been running for almost 2 days with no disconnects. Anyone is welcome to try the testing branch by going into the machinecoin-core directory on their vps and typing the following commands:

I think the dev is heading in the right direction however maybe a re-brand might be good at this time? I think it will create more interest in the coin like the re-brands of some other coins have done. Its a new year so there is no better time for one if the dev decides to do so.

A new mobile wallet will get released soon (within the next weeks), and MacPay will put on-hold then.

try to restart the machinecoin core.

"machinecoin-cli stop" and "machinecoind".
