Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

Adam said they have worked on launching a new faucet, which had some issues and that is why ARCO listing is delayed, but it will be listed for sure. Let's not give ETAs for now...

Orphan blocks are declining fast and that was one of the main priorities for ARCO 2.0.

With every ARCO node updated there are less orphans.

Only 57382 more blocks till hardfork. I urge everyone to update before or your will have to redownload the entire blockchain after.

PS: Or maybe we are gonna have AquariusCoin classic  Wink . Gotta admit that would be somehow fun  Wink

Blockexplorer at Blockexperts.com https://www.blockexperts.com/arco hosting period is ending in 8 days.

If the community wants it renewed there is a 0.10 BTC yearly fee associated.

So i am leaving this multisig bitcoin address here (coosigner is @krile my lead dev) : 3ARegbXnG17rXNQ6p3Y2Fewgjok2hDqGcb and if at least half of the cost is contributed from the community it will get extended. If not all funds raised will be used to extend CryptoID BE.

https://chainz.cryptoid.info/arco/#!network however will get extended on time right regardless, right  now its good to go for another 5 months and we are planning on hosting our own blockexplorer as well in Q1 2017.

If by any chance there is a hardcore longevity ARCO supporter here ready to chip in with the essentiall OP costs i am pledge-ing 1000 ARCO i just now bought on Cryptopia for his/her commitment.

A great week to you all i am still getting back on track slowly after a nasty fall on the stairs last week. (no broken bones just a nasty swelling).

I recently updated my wallet to v2.0 but unfortunately, I'm staking nearly nothing per day. I'm owning around 7500 coins and find around 10 blocks every day. Before the update, I found at least 30 blocks every day. Is there something wrong my wallet? The wallet is running all the time (24h/365d) without any interruption.

Nope you are all good. Do note that you are competing at PoS with early adoptors check BE for a more clear picture https://chainz.cryptoid.info/arco/#!rich  and PoSWallet group stake pool.

This may help you stake more blocks. Generate a new recieve address in your wallet and send all your coins to yourself.

But hey you are getting 10 blocks and that really is not bad not bad at all.

Tnx for running a full node BTW  Cheesy

Dear stakers the amount of ARCOs you are staking is not the only factor the affects on how many PoS blocks you will find.

There are many other factors:

- number of connections is important
- quality of your internet connection
- cpu grade is somewhere important
- open ARCO P2P port 6205 on your router will definetly improve your chances

Note that AquariusCoin has 64second blocks with that in mind the quality of you internet connection plays a vital role here.

Hope i have cleared up any confusions.

Yeah i know Smiley I promise we will take care of the cosmetic work as well. First lets get thru the first hardfork.

I am being very carefull where the funds go as my blockchains had no premine, no ico or and type of fundraising so please take that into consideration.

There are quite a few great wallet designers here on BCT and if anyone is prepaird to do some work for ARCO (as in paid in ARCOs) i am open to suggesttions and collaboaration.
