The block chain is the main innovation of Bitcoin. It is the first distributed timestamping system.

Resynching a node from scatch to see if it gets stuck at checkpoint at block 399999.

Meanwhile @krile is looking at a potencial bug in the code.

Back from holiday. Synched two nodes from scratch with zero problems!

My wallet is synchronized, but I got no stakes anymore Sad
How is it possible that only one address finds all the blocks?
Maybe it's a problem of nearly all POS coins? Because ARCO is also "only" cloned from other POS/POW coins...
I've no explanation for this phenomenon and it seems that the dev's aren't interested to investigate/trying to solve it.
So, I think that will be the death of ARCO
...

How did you come up with this conclusion?

I came to the conclusion because no one needs a coin where only one person can stake/mine coins.
Furthermore, I thought after some days without any response from the devs, they aren't interested anymore in ARCO.

But finally, I was totally wrong. I'm very sorry for my thoughts. They finally did a great job. Sorry (again) and thanks for solving the issue!

I canceled my sell order and resynchronized my wallet for staking...

No worries. If this bug was not discovered in the middle of holiday we would taka action on day one.

Need to sent a nice tip to @krile for his super fast response and his semi night shift for the patch.

Glad to so you are still on board. Cheers.

I will just quote myself here so i dont copy paste.

Since @krile is not gonna talk about this i will mention it so you all can at least have a chance to understand why there are delays and at first sight impressions that nothing is going on.

@krile just got a new job with a mayor cloud and fibernet provider in Slovenia and his responsibilites are very serious. His new employer is also a very strategic partner for our projects but this was not supposes to be announced yet. Lets just put it like this massive infrastructure is just crying to head over to the blockchain ecosystem.

When everything is in its place the way i/we invisioned all will be revealed.

Please dont judge us for the slow development curve. We never asked for a penny from the community nor was there a developer premine and for that we can only ask for you to be patient as we are not gonna abandon our projects. For those that stick around the future of cryptocurrency is very much bright and there is a place in this world for altcoins as well.

A side note that besides @krile and i have dayjobs and family wea re very active people in crypto and we both have jobs in a non profit organization Bitcoin association Slovenie where i am entrusted with the president seat and @krile is my second in command so that you all understand that our altcoins are not the only responsbility here but we have an obligation to the entire contries cyptocurrency community.

I dont know if these words mean anything to anyone but i am here for the truth and nothing less. You all have a great day and keep the cryptospirit on. Cheers. Jure

Hi community. Just so you guys and gals know that regardless of first impression that nothing is going on here a short recap so you understand that its been anything but a dull 1/3 september 2017.

Just came back from 27th Economic Forum Poland where we had the 3rd year in a row the honour to moderate Bitcoin and blockchain panel. This year we had a Transparency panel and a Bitcoin/Blockchain panel.

We did record the Bitcoin panel (sound is terrible btw) but still here it is. I may suck and boosting adoption and development of our blockchains but i dont suck at being president of Bitcoin association Slovenia.

With great pleasure announcing a strategic long term partnership with a mayor slovenian
cloud and datacenter provider. RVO is also a major slovenian ISP connecting the backbone of slovenian fiber network.

This is an informal announcment. More details will be posted later on during the year.

Happy to announce we are sponsoring water for TEDxVelenje.

https://www.ted.com/tedx/events/24556
https://kriptovoda.si/
https://tedxvelenje.com/

TEDxVelenje is organizing the deepest TEDx event in the world at an astonishing 157m below the surface.

Five speakers will share their ideas in areas which could all be labeled as Underground, those being the living organisms below the surface we see daily,
social topics we are not encouraged to talk about, and ideas we do not necessarily perceive as right.

The event will be held at The Coal Mining Museum of Slovenia on November 4, 2017.

That's a very good approach, Jure. This is one of the reasons to propose "the water of crypto" slogan. Wink Soon I'll try to join as well and support financially these initiatives. Next April (I believe) should be also the 3rd CoinFestUK, which is organized by Adam (batesresearch). Providing ARCO water for such events can bring a lot of awareness to the coin.

Cheers,
Spartak

The only thing, which is a problem are funds. Apart from that we can reach to 10+ countries around the world. People we have there can just buy some water and put the ARCO logo (which we can send via... email Smiley) on it and there you go.

I actually have a problem with that. The water quality is important here. I wouldt want KriptoVoda logo on some fluoride pumped shizzwater.

how many tokens in total are you issuing?

~42 Million, but it'll take 10s of years to get there. Currently there are only ~1.437 Million coins.
