Hi gyus,

I cannot believe my eyes.. i get the same Sols/s from both cards, but the sapphire is consuming more power than the other one. Have you experienced similar behaviour ?
Thank you

do you use msi afterburner for your settings?

Your settings for the sapphire are not optimal.

Do you have bios mods on the cards?

Same here, Sapphire defaulted to 1.15 vcore in boost mode, while XFX had only 1.1. You have to check GPU BIOS seeting for power limits and set your operating voltage in BIOS/driver.

I have suspiction that "GPU only power draw" is not what it really is.

I think that this parameter shows power draw not for GPU, but power delivered through additional 6 or 8 pin power connector.

Best way to check it - use clamp ampermeter to measure both currents on PCI-E riser and extra power.

And second - GPU-Z screen is not informative.
If you drop memclock - you'll see power drop too with same GPU clock and voltage.

I have same card, use Sapphire Trixx
Can you give me relative optimal settings for that card?

Sapphires have a voltage bump in their roms so they will consume more power out of the box.

99% on the fan from XFX, that can't be good for it's lifespan. Better to have higher temp (<80) and lower fan speeds.
