Recently I was scammed, and I was too stupid to make the transaction even though there is no assurance. I didn't research his profile and too dumb to realize. I learned my lesson. Be careful transacting with unknown people.

That's really sad; there are just people who don't have the respect and dignity. Well, I guess he needs it more than you do. Karma will get him.

The thing about getting scammed is you\we tend to give others the benefit of the doubt and in the end we lose to scammer or hacker

Yeah, that's what i thought also, trusting too much could end up badly. They are just some scared person behind the keyboard, hoping that could benefit from nothing. No dignity.

I have never been scammed. I don't trust anyone so its easy to see these scammers coming. I can smell a scam a mile away.

What are your bad experiences in bitcoin? Not just scammed by other users it could also include HYIP, Cloud mining scams, investment scams, etc. I know it's a bad thing that happened, I think it's better to share them here so you could vent out on what you are feeling.

Feel free to post anything.

I had 5 times scammed when investing cloudmining, ICO launching, trading sites.
That is enough for me to wake up when investing.

It should probably have a lot of confidence or the courage to admit it. Well done. Respect. The main thing is not to fall, everyone in life can happen to be forced to cheat.

I was hacked. A couple of years ago I lost 1 month of LTC mining because I was stupid and used a easy password on the pool site. The same password that someone get off me by phising here with "free coin! just sign up".. It was my fault but I have learned.

Life is a hard thing, and has hurt a lot. Sometimes it is a punch that hard, but it does not mean that you need to whine and justify their actions. I agree that the losers justify themselves. If you did that then it would be and not otherwise. Here's how to.

I lost some to Gaw miners and that was pure scam. Luckily I was able to sell paycoins before they tanked to nothing. I can't believe how many hung on after the writing was on the wall. I was dumping my miners cheap and everyone thought they were getting a bargain. Poor bastards. Could have been much much worse for me and I consider it a cheap lesson.

Lost 76 litecoins at Vircurex. That was around $800 at the time. Scam, hack, or inside job? No one knows for sure. They still show as "frozen" but I've never had any unfrozen and don't expect to after all this time.

Lost a little bit of btc at Mintpal which was pure scam/thievery. Might have been a couple scraps of something else too.

Write it off as the cost of doing business.
Actually fraud and deception all preferred in most cases to remain silent and not to dwell on what you are doing on the case itself. This issue is very delicate.

I think that the time to deceive or cheat against those who do it all the time, it does not matter, but in general can be attributed even to merit such incident.

I've never been scammed before and I hope to never get there in my life because a friend once fell victim and the emotional expression alone told me how bad an experience it is. I guess being careful and taking precautions before transacting business with unknown people should be paramount.

It's a way to get yourself better, and it doesn't hurt if you believe right? It's better all right. It's okay to believe in something, be positive and the outcome would be positive too. (Another loser saying this again?)

That's really sad that you've been scammed 6-10 times. It must be really a work of art that they managed to scam you many times. Their documentation must be convincing. Cloud mining is sometimes promising, but it's not from what I've read. They would just get your money away.

I was scammed twice, though it was a long time ago, when I still used faucets.
First time it was a faucet. Second time it was when I deposited some coins in a cloud-mining site. Afterwards I learned to search and be more cautious.
