Base rates are being increased to 35 / 50 / 85 USD weekly. Based on post quality users have a chance to upgrade to higher payment rates of 40 / 60 / 100 USD. Upgrading user levels will be done based on merits as well as usual post quality.

It looks good. You just need to set minimum number a week and then when check posts also check merits awarded for each member. This number can get adjusted latter on if will not be set perfect from start. Only problem is to be careful that someone will not abuse that.  

As are my experiences so far. I got them mainly first week when everyone was frisky about them.  At weeks when we will get merits we will sort of get a Christmas bonus

I'd rather not base it solely on merits. I'll try to figure out how to do it effectively in the upcoming weeks. For now I will not disclose any merit amount. Maybe I'll make it based on who is most effective in receiving merits week after week.

Thanks Sir! It is really an encouraging change in the campaign. Bitdice is already the best and the longest running campaign of bitcointalk and I wholeheartedly thank the Bitdice team to make this happen.

However, I have a suggestion for the team and Sir BoXXoB. The whole point of merit system is to encourage the quality posters. So I suggest to reduce the number of weekly posts and bifurcate into conditions. Because quantity doesn't always go well with quality and also when a quantitative target is given, the quality starts to lag.

SO I will suggest you to bifurcate like below,

Per post rate: ($85/30)= $2.83
Minimum no. of posts to be eligible for payment: 15
Maximum no. of posts will be paid: 30

It will ensure no one makes vague replies just to meet the weekly target of 30 posts. Please let me know what do you think.

^ But keep in kind that 'quality' is also about how the person delivers what he or she is saying.  I'd rather post a witty one liner than something that sounds forced.

The thing is to stick to what you know.  I see most people here try to sound like they have a PHD in economics or something...  I should know because it was something I used to do.  Lol.  Apart from the usual trolling.
