Spotted this one of the BFL threads but I reckon it needs its own discussion.

Did BFL start a new company?

Obvious scam, right?. They claim to have 500  units "in stock and ready to ship".

Web design is copied from BFL

Well I doubt BFL is behind it. If I had to guess it's a run of the mill ASIC scam: con some greedy nerds into parting with their BTC for a completely fake product, then take down the website.

+1 It's still a pretty bad scam because i'm pretty sure that most "nerds" buying asic would know what a bfl products look like

Take a look at the registration information on both domains. They don't appear to be connected.

Sadly, I'm sure a few fools will fall for it.

They even have Google advertising!

Report them to Google. They will lose their AdWords, get dropped from search rankings, and labeled a "dangerous site" in chrome malware protection Wink

I know all these mining suppliers seem obvious to people here, but I see people on IRC all the time who are apparently finding them credible... considering how cheap setting up a website is its no wonder a lot of people try to scam.

If you click the Bitcoin cart checkout the page at bitpay says not found.

It use to work, but I did drop an email to Bitpay.  Maybe they looked it into it as I suggested.
