I have 3 rigs with dual 5830's
I'm trying to mine Litecoin using Reaper or cgminer

cgminer crashes on launch and Reaper gives me an error akin to "Reaper needs at least 400MB of video memory, yada yada"

Obviously my cards have enough memory, they're 5830's with 1GB of memory... But... What the hell?
The only machine I've successfully started mining Litecoin on is an A10-4600m laptop.
T.T I want litecoins. Could anyone point me in the right direction for help/assistance?

Try and remove the
Code:
"gpu-platform" : "1",
from the cgminer.conf file. See if this stops the crashing of cgminer. Let it auto find your platform. I found out by using the platform code above, whether it to be 0,1,2 or 3, it crashes my cgminer.

I'm trying that along with downgrading to cgminer 2.11.3
I'll report back when I get a chance
