if I were a developer and I was good at it, that meant I was a programmer and that meant for money I would have left my parents basement to get a real job in the real world to make real money and stop thinking about making money by creating a new altcoin or anything altcoin related.

and then if I were still interested in "developing" something I would have made an altcoin project for free not for money.

e.g. become someone's real slave.

getting a real job doesn't mean becoming a slave.

and even if it does, it is a lot better than becoming a zombie in altcoin world copy pasting code, and changing a couple of lines and starting to pump and dump like thousands of other developers sheeps!

Developers make money by hacking themselves or buying their own ico.

It's a little bit like incest-porn.

I will create an exchange, the life span is far better than launching a new coin although it's not fast and easy profit but at least you can run an exchange as long as you like ,you also have the option to run if you have more than 100000 bitcoin..

There are so many dead exchanges out there, that seem to be well coded, have plenty of available coins to trade, but lack any popularity. This isn't a good way to make any money. There really is hardly any money in this scene anymore.

Problem is what kind of job ?
I was alluding to the fact that most around the scene are pointless bullshit..

I would not have a problem with it if a dev seen a project and got inspired
and then thought shit, you know what ? I want to be a part of that "Vision"

Then..

We have a legion of shitheads from across the planet who have weak coding experience
who pop up here and think damn i can build hello world in Java or C sharp / .net or VB  Cheesy
Then think hey !
I aem'z big timez c / c++ coder'z nows !!1111

PAY ME !

I myself have more coding experience in 'C' than all these little shitheads around here combined
and i would not make a coin because i am not qualified for the job at hand.

..and yeah i said C (not C++) --> for a reason Wink

So..
This issue reminds me of arguments i have had with known coders in Crypto over the years.
I would bitch at them that their hired gun mentality is a farce..
They would bitch at me in response that they "need to get paid"
So..
It had little to do with supporting a project that they believed in.. instead it was about "Getting paid"

..as a well known cancer head cloner once said in his cloning guide..
"..for fun & profit"

Let me know how that works out for ya.. make sure to quit your day job "Dev's"

Develop a unique cryptocurrency perhaps. having it unique however is something very difficult to create now that almost all are created already besides those tokens meant for business and runs on separate platform. the worse is that there are different platforms this time from eth, lisk and waves when infact we could have just create one and every thing as assets.

being a developer isn't really easy to make money though.

maybe the problem is that they are not offering anything different. i mean when i am trading on an old exchange already and i am satisfied with some features and dislike others i will never look for another copy of the same place with the same features.

but if they try to be more innovative on their platform, offer features that other places don't and maybe even have some competitive fees (not the same 0.2%) they could have become more successful!

Well, I think, the best way to make money for developers is to make lots of apps, then sell it. so I can make a lot of money. if not, I just need to try to join the Google AdMob. Well, I think it could make me make money in large amounts if many who use these applications

rofl, the reason is that you only know how to do a few lines of procedural code, not object oriented design patterns.

c is a powerful language, but you are correct it is not really looked at as an object oriented language. If I remember correctly you cannot create classes in c, structs instead i think?

I'd get a fucking job.

And no there is no such thing as a job in Crypto either.

..McDonalds is hiring and you'd make more working there than you would in in the shitcoin scene.

you might say that about investors , but develop is different. you can make a good easy money...
i'm saying that because a few investors put money in any sh*t ico around here so generally the developer make huge money and the investors lose everything.

PS: I do not support this attitude, that's why i'm saying. if investors stop putting their money in any sh*t ico this scheme will end.

One unique aspect of the BitShares blockchain is that you can actually work for and get paid by the blockchain itself.

Take for example vikram who was just voted in as a worker earning 10k bts/day.  Another user Chronos is earning 16.6k bts/day for making videos about bts.

Here is his thread pitching the worker proposal: https://bitsharestalk.org/index.php/topic,23495.msg300188.html#msg300188

List of workers: https://cryptofresh.com/workers

If you can bring something to the table, this is worth a look.

I would find freelancing jobs online if not got hired or got some work then its better to work offline or on physical world since jobs do pay decent regarding on developing jobs and i could able to maximize my skills furthermore. This skills is the most thing that i wished since because i do really have the passion to be a programmer and a developer.

Question:

If you were a developer and you were able to develop anything, what do you think is the easiest way to make money?

Some ideas:
-Altcoin exchange
-Develop a cryptocurrency
-Bitcoin/altcoin marketplace

I am a developer and I need to start making extra money to pay medical expenses so I would appreciate your help.
Be a dev of a new crypto, WORST being PLAGUED. Fucking it, fucking easy for turn up be a scammer.
Never try it.

If you want to program and make money by being on projects you actually love start working on open source projects in your spare time and build up your cred so you have something to show people(nothing is harder than telling people you are great without any proof and expecting to work on decent projects). Most people talk about the freelance avenue but I don't like it since it doesn't show how you work in a project environment with other people. You have to show you can deal with multiple people who have different ways of coding. There are plenty of projects on GitHub you can help with.

If you are really serious just work on getting $125 so you can create apps. Start out with games and transition to real work and apps. It is free to program anything on your own, so if you really want to program, you'll just do it.

So in the words of a wise man, "JUST, DO IT!"

..and yeah i said C (not C++) --> for a reason Wink

rofl, the reason is that you only know how to do a few lines of procedural code, not object oriented design patterns.

ROFL all you want ..you just shoved your foot in your mouth  Cheesy

I can write OO kid i was the guy who argued with MS over their c sharp .net code when it came out.
After getting mouthed off i was told well, yeah.. you are right. (back in 2003 or 2004 roughly)
I was making programs with C Sharp / .Net v1.0 lippy little shit.
..an OO lang Wink

Further more you fail to see your grand ineptitude and entire point to my comment earlier.
Historically most of the crypto code is written in C not c++ mouthy little fucking faggots.

So the fact i have to tell you that speaks volumes now don't it cocky little fucking shits.

EDIT:

with the first version or maybe even 1.1 i was making a csharp program for my own use.
It did a variety of things i wanted it to do..
Such as monitor CPU / Ram usage and change system settings on XP etc.
One of the things i noticed was that it was impossible to create a blank string registry key with it.
I was rudely mouthed off something fierce when i reported the issue.
But i was right you stupid assholes.. i ALWAYS am.
And i was told.. yeah.. well.. i guess, you are right.
You bet your ass i was  Cool

What were you doing in 2003 / 2004 snotty little fucking shits ?
Getting diapers changed ?
Were you even born yet "App's coder'z" ?

Sit down and shut the fuck up.. i am the smart one here  Cool  Grin
